Fantastic unit
I don’t know what the 1 star reviews are for? I’ve purchased this unit ($550) as well as a Seville unit that was $2,500, and they both work the same and are super efficient.. this one was a little less efficiency rating, but still don’t even notice it on the bill, and has just as much cooling power as my senvile’s that are 12k. AND they sent a power wire to send power to the outdoor unit!! How nice. So you get everything you need from these guys, it’s super cheap, and super efficient. Really can’t go wrong! Only thing is the remote control looks like it’s straight out of the 1960’s lol which nothing wrong with that I guess!

Don’t Waste Your Money
It turned on and blew air but it wasn’t cold. I contacted customer service, they asked me to send videos on two separate occasions. They said they may give me a gift certificate for the manufacture, I was so busy trying to get the air working for my tenants I just hired a company to repair it.

Frustrated with Geek Squad and Chat Support
I chatted with the Best Buy specialist to purchase a mini split for my nonprofit and specifically asked for it to be installed. They would not give me the price for the install until I purchased the product nor would they schedule the install until I purchased the product. I proceeded to purchase the product after purchase. I was told that the install was not available for that product when I tried to get them to return it. They said it was already out for delivery and I needed to contact FedEx. They gave me the FedEx account number. FedEx had no account number in their system. The product was delivered. I tried to get them to come pick up the product. They refused to pick up the product and wanted me to take it to the store and return it in person even though it’s very heavy. I don’t have a car and I have a bad back. Finally after much back-and-forth with their support they agreed to pick up the product, it was picked up, and I was refunded however all of this would have been avoided and all of the time and agony of fighting with support about what’s going on if they would’ve just researched whether the product could be installed in the first place. It needs to be professionally installed. It’s not something I can do on my own. I’m an accountant, not an electrician.
