Coward Brothers - The Coward Brothers (Original Soundtrack) - VINYL LP
About this product
The exact relationship between Henry (T-Bone Burnett) and Howard Coward (Elvis Costello) remains ambiguous. They often referred to themselves as InchOne and a Half Brothers,Inch which might hint at their height difference or imply they were not actually siblings but were involved in an elaborate ruse. Their musical partnership, known as The Coward Brothers, was initiated by Smiley InchDocInch Snipson, who discovered Henry Coward in 1956 and signed him for a UK tour. The brothers' hit single, InchMy Baby Just Squeals (You Heel),Inch was followed by less successful records and a controversial Cold War-themed song. To preserve their fading fame, Snipson orchestrated their supposed death in a plane crash, but they were actually in hiding on a Caribbean island, secretly recording music and sending it back to Snipson. When their funds ran out, they returned to Miami and made sensational claims about writing famous songs, leading to a brief stint as songwriters for Bill Bogguss. They later resumed recording, but their partnership eventually fractured, leading to years of estrangement. Their music, from early rock and roll hits to later, more introspective songs, is compiled in the album, The Coward Brothers. After years of silence, their story was explored in a radio program, revealing the complexity of their relationship and their enduring bond. Despite their tumultuous history, their music remains a testament to their unyielding spirit. The Coward Brothers are Elvis Costello and T-Bone Burnett.

2010 , a unique hybrid listening experience which consists of a mix of five new studio and nine live tracks. The band has enlisted veteran hit-maker David Bendeth to produce the new tracks and meld them seamlessly into live versions of the biggest hits and fan favorites. Papa Roach wage war every time they pick up their instruments. It's a war for musical integrity. It's a war for their fans. It's a war for rock 'n' roll.
Carducci Bros is the collaborative from brothers Mark and Joe Carducci, Mike Watt, and Jerry Trebotic. The project was spurred into action when Watt heard a decades-old record from Mark's high school rock band Midknight. The songs are accented with spoken word lyrics from Joe, with some penned by SST Records' house producer/engineer Spot, who passed during the record's creation. Featuring a deft rhythm section and Mark Carducci's reverb drenched guitar, the project showcases the unique creative vision that has made the SST scene such a vital and enduring force for decades.
Waxwork Records is proud to present THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER Music From The Netflix Original Series By The Newton Brothers. The Fall Of The House Of Usher is an American Gothic Horror Drama miniseries created by Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House, Hush) and starring an ensemble cast led by Carla Gugino (Gerald's Game, Sin City), Kate Siegel, Bruce Greenwood, Henry Thomas, and Rahul Kohli.Loosely based on various works by the 19th century author Edgar Allan Poe into a single narrative taking place from 1953 to 2023. It recounts the rise to power of Roderick Usher and his sister Madeline Usher, and the events leading to the deaths of all six of Roderick's children. The series has received critical acclaim and praise. Variety calls it InchA stunning use of Poe's work as the Cliffs Notes to his own majestic, intricate brand of storytelling, Flanagan's The Fall of the House of Usher showcases what the One Percent is willing to sacrifice to remain in high places.Inch Vanity Fair stated InchBy the end of House of Usher, we feel we have made our way through something dense and rich. This is not flimsy, forgettable TV. Flanagan's ardent belief in the power of monologue and melodrama, of complex storytelling and florid style, is infectious.InchThe series score by Flanagan's long time collaborators, The Newton Brothers, features sweeping and dark orchestral cues expertly crafted to accompany the gothic, Poe inspired storytelling. While melancholic and brooding, the music is also beautiful and playful at times. Massive orchestral swells are met with bombastic percussion which then pull the listener into haunting and fright inducing territory. Waxwork Records is thrilled to the series score as a deluxe double LP set featuring 150 gram Seafoam Green colored vinyl, design and layout by Matt Needle, heavyweight inserts, production stills, and heavyweight gatefold jacket
