A blue rubber ring came with it with no explanation for its use. Where does it go and what does it do?

Is there a way to clean the inside of the base? I'm sure after a couple of years of use there may be some sort of residue.

Can you use abuterol sulfate asthma medication in it ?
Answered by Crane Customer CareWe do not recommend that you add anything other than water to the unit's water tank. You can however use additives such as the one you have described if you use a humidifier or inhaler vapor pad in the unit with the additive.
How often can you use it? After every charge or 2 to 4 times a day? If you’re just using the steam not the vapor pads, can you use it several times a day?
