Named By: Brown, Caleb M.; Henderson, Donald M. 2015. Named for its ornate crown-like frill, Regaliceratops is closely related to Triceratops. The skull was first found by Peter Hews (hence the species name) and was nicknamed ‘Hellboy’ for its difficulty in being excavated from the surrounding rock matrix.
