A: You can stay with your plan. This is solely a refill card to use towards your existing service. If you were to buy a new phone, you can keep your existing Cricket service and phone number. Just make sure to ask for a SIM card swap - not a new phone number. You many not even have to use the new SIM card if your old one fits the new phone.
