Q: What exactly do you do with this item? Are you using to trace a picture?
A: No if you are cutting a design for a cricut project it is great for brightness to weed your project and be able to get it perfect. I used it on a very intricate design that was very small. . This made it sooo much easier to weed. It has 3 levels of brightness.
