Crobot - Supermoon - VINYL LP

Double vinyl LP pressing. 2024 album from Pennsylvania's own riff-titans Crobot, and likely the band's most introspective journey yet. Produced by Crobot, the 12 tracks on 'Obsidia'n dive into the deep, murky waters of the human condition, threading ancient myths with personal demons across it's tracks. While the band's primary songwriters - Bishop and Yaegley - tend to leave their songs somewhat ambiguous, the upcoming album's new tunes touch upon very personal growth, conflicts, and reflections. InchEach song descends into the darker reaches of the psyche,Inch Bishop says, Inchset to a relentless rhythm of heavy, pulsing beats and gut-wrenching guitar solos, and offers a stark reflection of internal struggles.Inch

Cast in a traditional design of three movements in a fast-slow-fast pattern, Symphony No. 3 is a work of great contrapuntal energy, percussive accents and propulsive rhythms. The composer described the passionate slow movement as Inchan extended song... making use of sustained voice-weaving.Inch Symphony No. 7 develops in a single movement of remarkable contrasts and intensity. An exception to Mennin's InchpureInch compositional approach, the concertato Moby Dick depicts Inchthe emotional impact of the novel as a whole.Inch This recording has been acclaimed as Incha fine tribute to an inexplicably neglected figure of the century's American music sceneInch (Chicago Tribune).
