Crockpot - 8-Quart Slow Cooker - Black Stainless Steel

I have been wanting a crockpot for a while, but specifically wanted one that had a timer for me to set the time in case I left it on while at work, etc. After looking at several, I came across this one and was sold instantly. I wasn't ever planning on getting an 8 qt., but I love cooking for others, so it certainly wasn't an issue. Love the color and the functions on it!

We needed a bigger crock pot than the one we had, found this one at Best Buy and ordered it online. Great price and fast shipping, and it is big enough for anything we want to cook! Does a great job!

I love my crock pot! I've owned mine for over two years now; it still looks brand new and it still has much more life. I got this one because I liked the digital display, the option to put a timer on, and the heat ranges from warm, low, and high. Crock pots are a must if you're meal-prepping and/or trying to eat at home on a budget. The only thing I think is worth critiquing is the heat of the warm setting - I think it's too hot. When the timer runs out and the heat changes to "warm", I noticed the food continues to cook so there were few instances where my food ended up over-cooking. Consequently, I still have to turn the crock pot off entirely once the food is done, which seems to be counterintuitive to the timer and warm option. Other than that, wonderful product!

This is the first crockpot I purchased. First thing I loved about this, is it’s capacity. I could’ve gone for a smaller size but I figured an 8 qt crockpot would come in handy for parties/large dinners. The controls/buttons are easy to use and straightforward. I’ve used it for pulled Tri-Tip recently and was extremely happy with the results. I was short on time and cooked the meat on high for a shorter time period, and it still tasted as if I had been cooking it all day. I do sear both sides on a skillet before placing it in the crockpot with beef broth.

I’ve used this about five times since receiving it. The timer is great and switches to warm. It does get very hot to the touch so If you have small children make sure they can’t get to it. Cooks faster then most crockpots so you definitely don’t have to cook things as long.
