As long as you purchase memory that the Crucial® Advisor™ tool or System Scanner tool says is compatible with your computer, you can be assured that you have memory that is capable of running in your system. The only exception to this rule is when purchasing high performance parts for custom built systems. Some CPUs are limited with the memory speed and latencies they will support, so it’s always a good idea to check the max memory speed your CPU will support, before paring it with any higher-end memory. Most would think that the lower the CAS Latency the better, as this value refers to your memory's ability to quickly respond to new information. This isn't completely accurate as newer memory types typically have much higher CAS latency times than their older counterparts. Why do new memory types have slower latency times? Along with different timings, there is an attribute called Clock Cycle Time. This is a measurement reflective of how quickly the memory can be ready for a new set of commands. New memory types, like DDR4, have significantly faster Clock Cycle Times than older memory. This effectively means the True Latency (real speed) is much faster. First time using 64bit RAM….. its AMAZING!!
Okay so I’m not like a tech genius or anything, but I built my own PC recently and decided to go big with this Crucial Pro 64GB kit (DDR5, 2x32GB, 6400 MHz). Honestly? I didn’t even know what half the numbers meant at first but it works perfectly. I just plugged it in, turned my PC on, and it ran fast without me needing to mess with any settings. I didn’t even have to go into BIOS or do anything scary. My system picked it up at full speed with that EXPO thing (I guess it’s for AMD? It worked lol). Apps open super quick, games load faster, and I can have like 30 Chrome tabs open, a game running, Discord, and Photoshop—all at once—and nothing slows down. ZERO lag. I used to think 16GB was enough but now I feel spoiled. Also, it looks clean. No rainbow lights or weird flashy stuff. Just sleek and simple. If you’re like me and just want really good RAM that works, this is it. No stress, no drama. Just plug it in and enjoy.

Mid Speed but fast.
I upgraded my 64 GB kit to 128gb This kind of upgrade kit is good for a mid-range workstation build. I observed the change, and speed works fine. Crucial is one of the best products for affordable but usable kits. Thank you for inexpensive items like this, Best Buy.
