It's Monk's Time is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on translucent red coloured 180-gram audiophile vinyl. It's Monk's Time is probably the most appropriate title for a Thelonious Monk album. The fact that he was on the cover of Time Magazine in February of that year (1964) shows how important the jazz composer and pianist was. It is also an essential part of his discography with the impressive jazz classic InchStuffy TurkeyInch and the amazing interpretation of InchNice Work If You Can Get ItInch, originally composed by George Gershwin. Monk recorded the album together with Butch Warren, Ben Riley, Charlie Rouse, and Teo Macero. Album Tracks 1. Lulu's Back in Town 2. Memories of You 3. Stuffy Turkey 4. Brake's Sake 5. Nice Work If You Can Get It (Take 3) 6. Shuffle Boil (Retake)
For it's thirty-first entry, Drawing Room is ecstatic to present InchDisambiguationInch, the first album from Megan Mitchell and Cruel Diagonals. InchDisambiguationInch is dark pleasure of an album that blends electronics and drones, ingenious vocals, and early earth rhythms. It's heaviness is completely hypnotic and forward moving.
