I have difficulty opening pull tab cans, which are getting more common. This opener is solid and heavier than most, and will hold a steel can upside down so it will easily open from the bottom. It looks nice on the counter, and works very well. Many cheaper products are avi;able, but this is worth the price. I give this an A+!

Excellent product….easy to use, operates well and function is sharp and quick! Matches the aesthetic of my kitchen appliances. Affordable find from Best Buy…and I’ve always loved Cuisinart small appliances too b/c they last for a long time!

I am replacing my kitchen appliances and needed a new can opener. This Cuisinart Can Opener is perfect for my needs. It's light weight and easy to keep clean. The white brightens up my kitchen and compliments the other blue appliances. It works like a charm. I'm very satisfied and would recommend to anyone. Thanks, Donna Martin

I opened this up to do a quick test to make sure it was working. Popped in a tuna can. The can opener started off fine then got stuck about 4 fifths of the way around. I thought maybe I had picked up a tuna can with a dent that I hadn't noticed so I tried a small tomato sauce can. The can opener worked perfectly. I grabbed another tuna can thinking the first one had had some issue. This time I checked for any dents. This second can was perfect. I put it in the can opener and 4 fifths of the way around, the can opener got stuck again. My old Hamilton Beach has it beat and its ancient. I'm bummed. It's such a nice looking can opener.

Works great not loud easy to clean doesn’t take up much space

I needed an easy to use, long lasting Can Opener. We've had B/D and Rival and they last about a year and then need replaced for one reason or another. Wife asked for one that wouldn't take up much room and looked good as well as functional. PRICE was a bit high but she likes it and it's QUIET and does a good job. Holds Cans, even tall ones well.

It’s a small can opener that is easy to use. Very light and quick to bring out. Opens can quite well. Very happy with it.

I've only use this can opener to open traditional regular size cans, the small ones, and every time I seem to successfully be able to open them with no issues with this machine. If there was any gripe if at all, it would be that it would also cut part of the label that I may have to remove from the food product, but honestly that is a very little inconvenience.

This is a top notch can opener. It opens the can nicely and smoothly with no sharp edges to fight. works wonderfully easy clean.

Used for first time on can of tuna yesterday. Good, easy to use with smooth action. This design is slightly taller than the ones I grew up with....but other than that the design for these hasn't changed much in 40 years. This one appears to be tall enough for #10 cans if working in commercial kitchen environment. (confirm with item specs). Quiet and easy to store.

For many years I used manual can openers because electric ones were no good. I am very happy to be brave enough to try this Cuisinart one (primarily for its nice look), and lucky enough to report that this one truly works great! I have opened several cans, now, including large baked beans cans, and it worked quietly, quickly and accurately. Never dropped a lid into the can.

This can opener works well, and it's easy to remove the metal arm piece for cleaning. Also, the black/chrome colors are nice, and don't distract in the kitchen.

Bought this at very reasonable price, doesn't take up much space on the counter, easy to clean.

The Cuisinart electric can opener is easy to use. I love the way the cutting portion can detach for easy washing. I like how it opens cans whether large or small with a smooth clean cut. I would recommend this can opener if you want a durable, economic opener.
