Excellent for my kitchen, just what I was looking for. I loved it

Bought to replace a decade-old George Foreman grill which is my main comparison. This one is slightly smaller, but four big burgers fit easily. As long as top lid is returned to locked position when opening, grease makes it into reservoir instead of dripping down back like my previous grill did. Lid gets very hot, be sure to use oven mitt if adjusting. Much easier to clean overall than my last. Good grill marks when searing steaks or burgers. Mixed results pressing sandwiches, probably my fault not leaving it in there long enough though still very tasty. Have used a dozen times but only the grill side so far. Happy with the grill, has been well worth the price.

We love to use this for paninis. Sandwiches made with this appliance turn out perfectly crisp and pressed. It heats up very fast. It’s easy to clean. Glad I purchased this at a great price.

I originally had an Optigrill. It had more features than what I needed, so when it finally gave up the ghost after 5 years of almost daily use, I opted for griddle/grill with less features out of practicality and to save money. Enter this little griddle. I had high hopes at first, but almost immediately one of the two latches used to release the top griddle plate broke when I depressed it actually cutting my finger. The cut healed and I figured out how to get by without the latch. Next, when using it completely opened in griddle mode, the back griddle did not heat up to the same temp as the front one causing my pancakes to cook unevenly. Whatever, I lived it. Then, I noticed that the bottom griddle plate heated up unevenly, with the front heating to a higher temp than the rear of the plate. Sigh, I work around that, too. I don’t use it for anything else in the closed/panini mode other that grilled cheese, frozen hamburger patties, and bacon. And in the open griddle mode, just pancakes. But I do use it almost every day. Pros: 1. For a surprisingly small footprint, you can fit a lot on it. In panini mode, I can fit 3 quarter pound burgers no problem. 2. The plates are remarkably easy to clean. Like so much more easier that my Optigrill's. 3. Very easy to use. 4. It’s relatively inexpensive. Cons: 1. There’s no audible alert for when the grill has heated to temp, which is a wonderful convenience when you’re busy doing other things and not paying attention. 2. After opening the lid when cooking a burger, grease will drip down the back of the lid and onto the counter. 3. There always seems to be grease on the counter around the base. To be fair, the Optigrill had a spatter issue, too 4. The grease doesn’t drain effectively. There’s just a tiny notch in the rear of the plate which can get overwhelmed whereas with the Optigrill it flows freely and never backs up. I wouldn’t buy again, nor would I recommend. Also, I wouldn’t buy an Optigrill again, either, even though it’s a far superior machine.

This is a great product. Easy to use and feel the knobs are better than pushing buttons. Cooks fast and love that the griddle pieces are dishwasher safe. It's nice looking too.

We really love this griddler. It is our third one. The first one, we wore out non stick coating and it was cheaper to buy a new one, on sale, than the replacement grills. The second one had a knob that broke but it was going on 5 years of almost everyday use. My wife really likes the waffle plates you can buy. Those we bought with the first one and they still work great, over 10 years. We use this for chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs, quesadillas, grilled cheese, and fish.

Bought as a replacement for an old, virtually identical unit that had seen lots and lots of use. Grilling plates are reversible between flat and ridged, and are removable for cleaning. Size-wise, it's good for 4 nice large burgers, or 2 good sized steaks or chops. Collects the grease well. With its small footprint, it fits the bill for controlled cooking and easy cleaning.

Love it, works great, doesn’t take up too much counter space when closed but lots of room when open. Griddle/grill plates easy to remove and wash by hand or in dishwasher.

Works very well as both a panini press and a griddle and swapping between the two is as simple as turning the plates over. I have had no difficulty washing the plates and the heat reaches temperature fairly quickly.
