Quality coffee maker. Looks beautiful sitting on my counter but I have noticed that not all of the coffee grounds get saturated in the basket after brewing. As expensive as coffee is, I hate the thought of wasting it. This happens with any amount of coffee grinds that I use. For a $200 coffee maker, I expect better. Also, the beeping noise that sounds when the coffee is finished brewing is annoying.

I had a Cuisinart coffee maker from the beginning of 2008 that was finally starting to show its age. Good coffee is important to me, even though I am not an aficionado. The OXO brand pour-over coffee brewer was not sold by Best Buy, and was one of the best rated machines, so I opted for the Cuisinart variant and I haven't been disappointed so far. Even the color and the texture of the coffee is much richer than a standard drip machine. The machine is sleek and elegant and certainly makes the kitchen counter look way better than with the big ol' clunker. For an average consumer, this is probably too expensive and unneccessary.

Was looking pour over coffee maker, the Cuisinart was was a excellent option between some that were much more expensive and others that were much cheaper and of questionable quality. Very happy with the quality of the unit, it is a nice compact unit, easy to use and seems to be comparable to more expensive units
