About this product

CUSSES Announce Debut Self-Titled Album Due Out October 30 (HA! Records) Cusses, the Savannah, GA-based 3-piece rock outfit, are making their long anticipated debut album, the self-titled Cusses, available on October 30 via their own tag, HA! Records. This collection features their MTV-approved first single InchWorst EnemyInch Cusses aren't easy to define. However, whether their guitar driven, fuzzed out brand of music reminds you of The Runaways meets The Ramones or Siouxsie and the Banshees meets Jet, or even Pat Benatar with some heavy handed riot grrrl sass, it is impossible to come away with any other conclusion than this Cusses are bringing back real, effortless, speaker-blasting rock & roll. A band that would be right at home taking center stage at CBGB. Lead singer Angel Bond was introduced to drummer Brian Lackey through mutual friends, and they have not separated since. The two moved from Los Angeles, where they worked in the art department for print and film together, to follow their passion for making music and performing. They headed to Savannah, Georgia in 2009, and met up with Brian's long time friend, guitarist and past band mate, Bryan Harder (they opened for post-hardcore legends Fugazi in their last band together!). The three formed Cusses that summer and played their first show in February 2010. And now their debut album, Cusses. Produced by Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra), Cusses is a relentlessly engaging collection of edgy, refreshing rock. Bond's wistful vocals cut brilliantly through strong, unyielding drum beats and commanding guitar riffs while the layered guitar parts played by Harder eliminate the need for a bassist, reminiscent of 90's grunge era bands. The album features the hard-hitting, high voltage lead single InchWorst EnemyInch, the breezier, misleadingly sunny sounding InchBlood EverywhereInch and the anthemic InchDon't Give InI

Disheveled Cuss - Disheveled Cuss - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Nick Reinhart, guitarist, and singer of cult favorites Tera Melos / and a frequent musical contributor to Death Grips and Portugal. The Man has created a new project under the moniker Disheveled Cuss. A departure from the innovative and very technical/ambient compositions he's known for, Disheveled Cuss lives somewhere in-between early Weezer and Teenage Fanclub with a heavy 90's indie rock influence. Reinhart is a prolific musician; with four Tera Melos LPs and contributions to the aforementioned bands above, he also just wrapped up playing guitar in Best Coast as part of the house band of Fred Savage's new TV show, was a member of supergroup Big Walnuts Yonder (Minutemen, Wilco, Deerhoof), one half of the duo bygones along with Zach HIll (Death Grips, Hella) and more. The self-titled debut album Disheveled Cuss is an accomplished new turn and an exciting indicator of things to come from Nick Reinhart. 1. Generic Song About You 2. She Don't Want3. Wanna Be My Friend4. Nu Complication5. She's Odd6. Fawn7. Oh My God8. Don't Paint the Sun9. Shut Up10. Sunland11. Surf-101

Cunts - Cunts - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Cunts is an iteration of disgust, a statement of contempt. In an age when degrees of absurdity are the only accurate unit of measure, Cunts stand defiantly in the face of a declining civilization and thumb their collective nose. They have no use for lofty ideology or half-cocked idealism. They do not seek your approval any more than they need your permission; that is to say, not at all. Comprised of Los Angeles scene vets Michael Crain (Festival Of Dead Deer/Retox/Dead Cross), Sterling Riley (Hepa. Titus/Orphan Goggles), Keith Hendrikson (Virginia Reed/Kill The Capulets), Kevin Avery (Retox/Planet B) and Matt Cronk (Qui), Cunts is a band that requires no explanation. Since appearing on the LA underground scene in early 2018, Cunts have earned a reputation for their blistering and intense (and often violent) live shows. Equal parts catharsis and blood-letting, Cunts as a live entity is an unapologetic display of rage and S*x, of belligerence and contempt, of body and soul.
