Gives me peace of mind that my expensive PC setup isn't going to fry and enough juice to give me time to save and shut down. That's all I wanted. Tells me all the basic info about usage and how long it would last. Easy to set up and just forget about.

Where we live (way up in the hill towns of Western, MA), power has always been a challenge. Having reliable computer performance for our home business is critical. Over the years, we've had to rely on UPS units to get us through the usual unstable power and surges (and brief outages). That used to be big expensive professional units that were very heavy and noisy (with continuously running cooling fans). We eventually found these great CyberPower units -- and while run-time is definitely not as long as the bigger units, they are really light and quiet - use far fewer batteries -- and provide plenty of back up time to get us through the shorter outages - or enough time to finish up our work, and shut everything down safely. Plenty of outlets , too. Recommended.

This unit has twice the capacity as my previous back-up, but is smaller so I can place it on my desk instead of the floor; I was constantly dusting my old unit. Very easy set-up. Pleased with my purchase.

Always having brownout, or surges. I use these for added protection on my expensive electronics. My TV, PC, and other stuff. I watch the V in drop to 90 and up to 130, that is not good on a TV or your PC. This helps to stop that from killing you device. I also use these on my aquariums. Run the air pump for a long time in that case of a power outage.

Performed better than expected quite and efficient. Plenty of sockets to plugs in other hardware. Very easy to setup right out of the box.

It does exactly how a UPS is ment to perform. Never a fault, battery issue, or underpowered. Will switch to battery power if brown out or dirty power detected. Protect your hardware and most importantly data integrity. These are a must in home or office use. You wont regret.

I haven't experienced a power outage so I haven't really seen how this operates when it's really needed. It was very easy to set up and is quiet during normal operation which was important to me. The only negative I've seen so far is that when my server need to be booted due to windows updates the power monitor software doesn't detect the UPS right away and sometimes requires a second boot using the power button on the UPS before it's recognized.

Just had a thunder storm with the power flickering. Computer never knew there was a problem. Works. Software that you can download to monitor the power and shut down computer when battery is low will not work. Software is on the computer but can not be programed! Why? Great idea if it could be programed to work!

I have purchased many of these for equipment and systems. While yes it is a little expensive and seems unnecessary, having a battery backup actually protects the equipment plugged into it. I have less support problems with connected equipment, than I do with those devices that are not on a UPS battery. This brand has been rock solid for me. Replacement of the internal battery after a few of years is super simple, and very inexpensive. This is a great way to extend the life of the equipment that gets plugged into it.

Just picked this up recently and have it running to support and always on server. The box came pretty damaged on pickup from Best Buy however it seems to be working fine so far. With my computer and all my networking gear running it appears to draw about 140 watts which gives an estimation of a run time of 30 mins on battery power. I’ve heard there is software that will run on windows that will signal to shutdown if the battery gets too low but I’m just running this with an Unraid machine which has its own plugin to manage and shutdown based on time or battery level.

Bought this to replace e an old TripLite battery backup. The info display on the front of the unit is nice and the it has a reasonably compact footprint. Had this unit for a couple of months so far and no power outages yet so kind of hard to comment on much else at this point..

Held up just fine with a current power outage last week, with my HD desktop and large tv. Had plenty of time to save.
