Q: will this unit prove power for a refrigerator in a black out?
A: I'm sure it would power a refrigerator in a blackout, but only for a short amount of time. A refrigerator has significantly less power than the PC that I bought to use it with. It's not meant to run something continuous. It's meant to give you time to shut it down properly without losing data or other important stuff.
