Daddy and Them (MOD) (DVD Movie)

When Ally (Hayden Panettiere), a popular teen and local celebrity goes missing, her small suburban town erupts in panic. Mr. Gibb (Tim Daly), a dorky teacher with a known infatuation with Ally, becomes the main suspect when it is revealed that he was the last person to see her. The Good Student is a riveting thriller that will keep you guessing until the very end!

MARGARET CHANG reluctantly returns to her hometown along with her hapless brothers to deal with the sudden depression of their complete-jerk father, whom everyone happens to hate. In fact, he's actually more pleasant being depressed, so the siblings wonder if it's worth struggling to get him better. In the meantime, their forced time together allows them to reconnect as a family, reminisce about the bad times with Dad and maybe even help each other out in the process in this multi-award-winning comedic drama feature film.

Spencer Tracy and Elizabeth Taylor reprise their father/daughter roles in this sequel to the popular Father of the Bride. This time around Stanley Banks (Tracy) finds himself resisting the idea of becoming a grandfather, and soon finds himself in a series of comical misadventures involving his new grandson. Legendary director Vincente Minnelli shot this charming family film in a mere 22 days in 1950, the same year he directed his classic An American in Paris. The cast includes Joan Bennett, Billie Burke, and a 14-year-old Russ Tamblyn.
