Dan Deacon - Rat Film - Original Film Score - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Volume One is the debut album. It was the only album recorded with second guitarist Justin Marler, before he became an Orthodox monk. Volume One showcases a darker sound and stronger doom metal influence than Sleep's later work.

Vinyl LP pressing. 2014 debut solo album from the former My Chemical Romance frontman. The album features musical assistance from Matt Gorney, Jarrod Alexander and Ian Fowles.

Gliss Riffer marks new territory for Baltimore-based Dan Deacon who, following up on the of his large ensemble-based recordings - 2009's Bromst and 2012's America - has returned to a simpler way of writing and recording, similar to that of 2007's Spiderman of the Rings, which resulted in this self-produced album. What Gliss Riffer shares with Spiderman of the Rings as a musical experience is an aesthetic directness and it's ecstatic energy.
