Turn the thermostat dial to the “0” position and unplug the power cord. 2. Remove all contents and leave the door open. 3. Place a tray or towel under the appliance to catch any defrost water. 4. Check the appliance frequently while defrosting to ensure that water does not leak and cause damage to flooring. 5. When all frost has melted, wipe the interior of the appliance with a towel or sponge to ensure it is completely dry before resuming operation. 6.
