It does not fit correctly. It is very hard to snap in. Once it is in, the slight movement of the laptop makes it fall completely out. It even falls out while sitting on the desk! Very poor! It is not the same battery that it is replacing. You must have changed suppliers. Very bad move!!! You need to get your previous supplier back.

Did not fit. Unfortunately this is the only replacement that Best Buy offers for the HP 710417-001. What was actually delivered was a NM 710417-006. It looks almost the same but there are small "fins" in the underside of the battery that prevent it for seating in the HP Envy TS 17. Return for credit was quick and easy.

This does not hold a charge very long. Doesn’t alert you when it’s about to lose power, it just turns off.

I was disappointed with this purchase and returned it. The battery has been redesigned and does not line up with the computer insert space. Fits a newer HP.

I had a chat with a Best Buy rep on line who led me to believe this battery would fit my HP G62 144DX notebook. As it turned out the connection section does not line up in the right place for my laptop, therefore i had to return it for a refund. As for a rating on the unit itself, it is probably great, except i was unable to test it to see. My recommendation is be double sure it will fit your computer before purchasing it.

Although this item had the correct part number. It did not fit lap top. Forcing a second trip to store for its return

Worked perfectly for my HP Pavilion 17 Notebook PC. Very pleased.

My laptop is back to normal again. Do not have to wait for it to boot up every time I want to use it again.
