Played all three so far and this one feels drastically different from its prequels. The first two prequels felt almost like diablo in its ease of gameplay on the standard difficulty and the way you equip items. The third in the series however feels almost like dark souls with how even the slightest mistake can take a lot of your characters health even at the beginning. Overall the free world experience from the game is amazing and has a lot of potential in its two dlc that are yet to be released. Can’t wait to finish the game

It's been a while since Darksiders II was released (though the remastered versions have come along to remind some of us), so Zelda-esque series returns and with aplomb! It's like a combination of things from I & II, and a bit more challenging than either. It may have a few flaws, but overall if you enjoyed either of the Darksiders entries, you'll enjoy this one.

I mean for a game that came out in 2018 the graphics are a little wonky. But if you can get past that, the story was a ton of fun, the gameplay is pretty smooth, and we had a great time working our way through it.

If you like 3rd person hack and slash with weapon customization attribute leveling and magical abilitys that you can also upgrade you will love this game. You play as Fury a young attractive woman and one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. She's hot deadly and fun to play . The boss battles are epic and the game overall is very fun to play It's not a Dark Souls game at all not sure why that's being thrown around. Combat is based on her whip chain attacks and magic havoc attacks. I could go deeper into this but I think you get the gist . Graphics are very good the controls are tight and the 3rd person camera never gets janky .It's a lot like devil may cry with a female protagonist and better combat .

Awesome game that not only takes you back to the D1&2 days but adds to the fun and excitement with new abilities and weapons and new perspective of the story we know. Can't wait for the fourth and final chapter.

This was the first darksiders game I have ever played and it was quite good. The story was a tad far fetched but still a cool idea in my opinion. The combat is the focus of this game and where it shines bright. The combat is challenging (dark souls like) but so satisfying. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone that likes challenging progressive combat.

I played the first two and really enjoyed them. I was very happy to see the next installment. It's a fun game but they changed it a little too much from the original style. It does suffer from several ideas without one being the main focus. It's still really fun and if you are a fan, you should enjoy it. They did patch it restore the old combat feel which should help if you prefer it.

We’re into the third series with Darksiders IIl. I’ve been playing this game with being very excited to finally get another DarkSiders games. The thing with is game is that it’s kind of low budgeted wise, I understand that because the Darksiders games have been having trouble in the years of staying afloat of the gaming community. The quality of this game shows troubles of frame rate issues and slowness and also dated like grainy graphics. I say this guys, Don’t judge this game by the looks because it’s very good with the continuous of the last two games. It’s challenging and everything with this game has that dark souls, prince of pershia from the PlayStation 2 all likeliness. The rpg aspect is something new with Darksiders 3. The flaws with this game is that it’s messing most of the key designments that the last two games offered. Darksiders 3 also is confusing to play at time with getting lost on the state levels. Over all not the best game in the series but still a good game. Pick it up guys. Check me out on YouTube Straight Up Reviews.

Not much has been improved with this series, other than some minor game play mechanics/fluidity, and minor improvements to graphics for the ps4 and pro, but, it is nowhere near a graphic powerhouse like some AAA games. Either way, if you ever even halfway enjoyed the original and sequel, then id definitely suggest giving this new one a try.

This is a good game that tries to take aspects from other games to make it more challenging. Once you get the hang of the game and the play mechanics, it is good. The first state/boss is rough though to learn on and can be frustrating.

Basically they removed the skills trees. They removed loot dropping. The cameras way too close for fighting multiple enemies and isnt adjustable with alot of combat in enclosed spaces making that even worse. You cant save when you want and walk away its checkpoint based so you've got to play this they say when. Consumables are on cooldown so if you use a potion you cant use any other item for a good 15-20 seconds. When using consumables you stand still like an idiot. If you die you drop all your money and have to load from the last checkpoint and do the whole freaking level over again while losing items you used previously just to collect your stuff. (Which will be right by where the enemy who just killed you was). Very little off the beaten path exploring like in the past. All in all they removed alot of the best parts of the last two games while trying to copy Darksouls* by taking its most annoying parts and adding them.

While not as excellent as the first or second game, very much in line with the tone and content of the franchise. It’s buggy, and the framerate stutters, but I played on launch; allegedly Gunfire have been working on it here and there, so I couldn’t say. In its messy launch state though I’d still recommend to Darksiders fans.

Great game. But that’s just it, just great. Nothing spectacular or game-changing. It’s just a solid installment in the darksiders series, definitely the weaker of the three. But nothing terrible, at all. This game is still an awesome experience through and through, darksiders at its core, so I love it.

Dark siders 3 is a great action video game. However, there wasn't a lot of being plot put to the game so that you can really be motivated to finish the game within a week or 2. The game is very easy and you can beat the game within 2 days at most. I give this game a one and a 1/2 stars out of 5.

The Darksider series has been s long time coming. With the doubts of the 3rd entry ever coming years ago since fhe closing of THQ; making its return after certain IP’s were up for sale, the Darksider series returns. This game feels a lot like the 1st too game which is a good thing. It’s like a Zelda/Metrovania type of game. Hoping this game does well as their are 4 horsemen to the series. Please make a 4th...

I loved Darksiders II even though I never played the original one. I went into this game expecting something similar in the combat aspect and was disappointed. It is almost impossible to not die repeatedly on Apocalypse mode and I don't know if this was the intended purpose or not. The other aspect that is lacking is the auto save feature in game. You can go for over 20 minutes without a save spot and die and lose all of your progress repeatedly, especially on the harder difficulties. I don't feel it is awful, but I know a majority of the community probably hate this aspect of the game.
