Limited vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition. Station to Station is the tenth studio album by rock legend David Bowie, released by RCA Records in 1976. Commonly regarded as one of his most significant works, Station To Station was the vehicle for his performance persona, the Thin White Duke. Musically, Station to Station was a transitional album for Bowie, developing the funk and soul music of his previous , Young Americans, while presenting a new direction towards synthesizers and motorik rhythms that was influenced by German electronic bands such as Neu! And Kraftwerk. Blending funk and krautrock, romantic balladry and occultism, Station To Station has been described as Inchsimultaneously one of Bowie's most accessible albums and his most impenetrableInch.     One of Bowie’s best

    I’ve missed this album for years, now my search has ended. Another great remaster on 180 gram vinyl and true to the original. Musically one of hies finest studio recordings. Features Golden Years, Wild is the Wind, and TVC 15, one of my favorites. Well produced and musically precise this was a defining sound for Bowie and furthered his popularity in the mid 70’s. You won’t be disappointed with this album.

    Great Reissue

    So happy my favorite Bowie album has gotten the solo release. Sounds great on 180 gram vinyl.

    Some of Bowie's best but not a fitting remaster

    It's hard not to see Bowie's last two waves of rereleases as shameless cash grabs after the artist's untimely death. The scepticism could have been avoided if the quality of these releases matched the quality of the content. The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust was a disaster that the record company have yet to address. Though Station to Station isn't the train wreck that Ziggy is there are still a lot of skips on the vinyl. I don't understand how every other one of my records can play without a hitch but these Bowie reissues just refuse to be listened to. A massive shame.
