He's a musicians musician who's played with everyone from Dylan to the Dead, from Ringo and George to Willie Nelson - a man who's amassed a huge following since his 1960's beginnings. After a long break from performing, his 2007 comeback album TRY ME ONE MORE TIME was nominated for a Grammy. For this project David asked his friends John Hiatt, Levon Helm, Tim Obrien, Keb Mo, Los Lobos, Doctor John, Widespread Panic, Linda Ronstadt and Vince Gill to each write a song for him and produce him performing it. The result is this celebration of one of Americas roots music masters.

This roots music master is revered for his fabled guitar work with legends from Bob Dylan to Ringo Starr, as well as his many humurous, acclaimed and popular albums on Columbia and Fantasy. This new recording is Undiluted David one man, one acoustic guitar and a repertoire of mostly traditional material performed with the touch of a master who has nothing to prove.
