dbrand - Killswitch Travel Case for Nintendo Switch 2 - Black

I've had my d brand killswitch case for around 8 months now and it's held up great! My hands get cramped very quickly holding the switch 2 especially with its bigger size, the grips on the back of the joycons definitely help with that! The grips for the joysticks also feel very nice. The game case and travel cover are very convenient and feels very sturdy and like my device is really protected. The dock adapter is easy enough to use, make sure to add the grip stickers it comes with so when you detach the switch from the dock it won't pull the adapter up. A little pricey but for the quality I'd say it's worth it. With this case combo and quality you really won't need another case for as long as you have your switch!

The best build, the ergonomics feel great specially for someone who suffers from Rheumatiod Arthitis who still likes to enjoy the fun of gaming without the pains of uncomfortable hand position. The fact that the joycongs can detach from the main case staying attached to the joy con locked grips is the best part because I love playing Mario kart with my kids and the normal size of the joycons was so small (That’s not a bad thing, I just have RA and that part sucks for me) that it made my hands fatigues very quickly. The grip added some much needed bulk for someone with my condition, that I can now focus on talking smack while leaving the kids in the dust lol. Hands down the best case

This case is probably a 5 star purchase for others, but it has some drawbacks for my use cases: 1. I frequently hold the switch 2 with one hand while I check my phone, or grab the TV remote, and the Joycon cases just slightly interfere with the magnetic attachment- not enough to make them fall out. Just enough to add some play that I don't like. 2. The killswitch dock is amazing, but when I bring my switch 2 to friends' houses, game stores, cafes, and kava bars, they occasionally have a switch 2 dock. This case makes it incompatible- you have to bring the killswitch dock adapter. 3. The texture of the grips and sides collects dust and small powdery detritis and just doesn't let it go. All that said, the pros are probably worth the cons. 1. The ergonomics are incredible 2. The killswitch (and its travel cover) are very rigid and protective 3. It looks great

If you're trying to decide between the Switch 2 and a Steam Deck or Windows-based handheld, and your main priority is simply picking up a device and playing games without hassle, the Switch 2 is absolutely the way to go. I've owned both, and while devices like the ASUS ROG Ally X are incredibly powerful and offer a lot of flexibility, they often require more tinkering than I have time for. Adjusting graphics settings, experimenting with performance modes, troubleshooting driver issues, and optimizing frame rates can become a process in itself. Doing that once is manageable, but having to repeat it for nearly every game takes away from the actual gaming experience. For me, gaming time is limited, so I want a device that just works. I want to pick it up, launch a game, play for an hour, and put it back down without worrying about configuration menus or performance tweaks. With the ROG Ally X, I sometimes felt like I spent more time optimizing games than actually enjoying them. By the time everything was set up the way I wanted, my enthusiasm to play had already started to fade. The Switch 2 delivers exactly the experience I'm looking for. The hardware and software are designed to work together seamlessly, games are optimized for the platform, and everything feels simple and intuitive. On top of that, it already has an excellent library of games available, with a mix of Nintendo exclusives, indie titles, and major third-party releases. If convenience, reliability, and ease of use are more important to you than endless customization options, I genuinely think you'll be happier with the Switch 2. It's a fantastic device that lets you spend your time playing games instead of configuring them, and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I love my Killswitch travel kit and dock attachment! Best buy I could’ve ever made for my Switch 2 (Pun intended Haha!) Seriously though, I have large hands which makes the Switch 2 a far better version than the last, and not to mention that with these added grips on the Killswitch make it that much larger and even more comfortable in my hands. From the travel case cover with magnetically attached game cartridge holder to the kickstand cover, it all looks and feels great! I waited months and avoided buying this straight from DBrand, so I could buy this product from BestBuy on release date and support my local store. Thanks for always bringing great products closer to home! I love my Killswitch! :)
