About this product
DEAD CROSS II - When Dead Cross released their self-titled debut in the Summer of 2017, Mike Patton, in conversation with Rolling Stone, said InchI'm not some young tough guy trying to prove a point anymore. For me to make a record like this, it's entirely a musical adventure. I just think it's fun, and it makes me smile a lot.Inch Visually, and audibly, Dead Cross is a snarling beast from some of music's most experimental and dare we say, hardcore, musicians Dave Lombardo (drums), Michael Crain (guitar), Justin Pearson (bass) and the aforementioned Patton on vocals, but at it's core it's a group of friends having fun, paying homage to the music they love and asking music fans to come along for the ride. It's that very friendship that brought the band members back together once again and gave us II, their new out OctOber 2022. Album Tracks 1. Love Without Love 2. Animal Espionage 3. Heart Reformer 4. Strong and Wrong 5. Ants and Dragons 6. Nightclub Canary 7. Christian Missile Crisis 8. Reign of Error 9. Imposter Syndrome

Limited black and red colored vinyl LP pressing. 2017 . Dead Cross emerged out of a series of impractical schemes, fallen-through plans, and last-minute musical experimentation. Shows were scheduled before a single song was written, fans were formed before even one show was played. The chaos of it's creation seems apt; after all, the band is comprised entirely of artists who have thrived playing tightly-coiled turmoil-intelligent dissonance disguised as disorder. Consisting of Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Misfits), Mike Patton (Faith No More, Tomahawk), Justin Pearson (The Locust, Retox) and Michael Crain (Retox, Festival of Dead Deer), the impressive, expansive, and eclectic list of prior bands collectively played in would be enough to ensure the unyielding ferocity of the music... but a resume isn't necessary, here. Dead Cross stands on it's own, speaks volumes with it's multilayered evil-genius vocals, manic guitar riffs, and brutal rhythms. Album Tracks 1. Seizure and Desist 2. Idiopathic Vocals [Additional] - Gabe Serbian 3. Obedience School 4. Shillelagh 5. Bela Lugosi's Dead Written-By - Bauhaus 1. Divine Filth 2. Grave Slave 3. The Future Has Been Cancelled 4.
