Dead Express - The Noble Art Of Self Destruction - VINYL LP

Limited vinyl LP pressing + DVD. The Mighty Monarch of Exploitation Cinema! These audacious adults-only radio adverts and trailers showcase all original counter-culture compositions from Friedman's freaky frontal lobe! Includes a DVD! Always a carny at heart, Friedman gravitated towards the sleazy independent film world, where he started a new company and ushered in a decade of his greatest films. Always brimming with bodaciously bare beauties and copious carnality - which became his tawdry trademark. From 1964-1975, he wrote and produced roughies, historical costume dramas (based on literary classics), counter culture time capsules, wild wanton westerns, various soft-X sizzlers, an elaborate jungle epic and perhaps the worst sci-fi movie ever committed to celluloid. But what ties all of these films together is the ballyhoo. Friedman sure knew how to craft an auditory advertising campaign to got 'em in the theatres. He was the king of alliteration and catchy taglines and his coming attractions were among the best and most entertaining of their time. Many of the trailers and radio spots utilized all-original compositions and scores from Billy Allen - a composer/conductor Friedman enlisted to set his films apart from all the other smut peddlers. As Inchadults onlyInch films were getting more explicit in the '70s, Friedman longed for the good old days of sin and skin. He only dabbled in the XXX world for a short time before retiring. So, listen up and get ready to have your ears spanked hard!

What is rock'n'roll? For some, it is raw energy and spontaneity. For others, a mood-enhancer. Rock'n'roll can mean loud shows, smoke and fire or S*x and drugs. For Dead Express it is all about sweat and suffering; a lifestyle that means believing in yourself. Dead Express' music has always been about spontaneity, but this time it has been strengthened by planning and dedication. The frustration from not getting the sound right on their previous album InchThe Noble Art of Self DestructionInch, released in 2018, has led to a determination to further raise the bar. This new album is more thoughtful and grown-up without losing the band's signature fun style.

Dead Express is all about the music and with an uncompromising DIY-approach to their craft they've managed to capture the essence of action rock with a huge amount of punk attitude. The new album with the appropriate title InchGame ChangerInch is the album where the band takes the step and lives up to it's full potential. This is the album for everyone who wants their Rock n roll to kick some serious ass!
