What's the connection between a space capsule that returns minus it's crew and some friends who go on a cave-exploring trip? Apparently it's a mysterious rock the spelunkers find and the deadly extraterrestrial creatures that emerge from it. What's the connection between the 1979 film InchAlienInch and this Italian-made sci-fi shocker? None, really, but that doesn't mean you won't be screaming. Mark Bodin, Belinda Mayne, Roberto Barrese star. AKA InchAlien 2 On Earth,Inch InchStrangers.Inch 85 min. Widescreen; Soundtracks Italian, English; Subtitles English; audio commentary; featurette. In Italian with English subtitles.
After a horrific nuclear assault, three soldiers band together in a special all-terrain land cruiser and head for Albany, NY-the only American city to be spared in the attack. As they travel through the post-nuke wastelands, they pick up a beautiful woman and an incorrigible teenager (Jackie Earle Haley) while battling mutant insects, packs of violent survivors and brutal electrical storms that savage the already barren plains.
A year before their jaw-dropper SHOCKING DARK, director Bruno Mattei (VIOLENCE IN A WOMEN'S PRISON) and co-writers Claudio Fragasso & Rossella Drudi (NIGHT KILLER, ZOMBIE 4) first collaborated on this brain-melting mash-up of PREDATOR, ROBOCOP and Philippines war movie mayhem When a team of badass commandos is hired for a jungle rescue mission, they'll instead find them hunted by a kill-crazed creature that is part man, part machine and all glorious '80s ItaloSleaze. Reb Brown (UNCOMMON VALOR), Catherine Hickland (ONE LIFE TO LIVE), Massimo Vanni (RATS NIGHT OF TERROR) and Jim Gaines (ISLAND OF THE LIVING DEAD) star in this Inchfreaking awesome must-watch for any action fanInch (BMovieCitadel. Com), now scanned in 4k from the original negative and loaded with all-new Special Features.
