About this product
Many great actors-including Dustin Hoffman-have played Willy Loman, the feckless protagonist of Arthur Miller's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, but none has equaled the heartfelt performance given by Fredric March in this definitive 1951 screen adaptation. March makes you feel Willy's multiple failures and lament the death of his dreams. He has excellent support, especially from Dunnock as his long-suffering wife and McCarthy and Mitchell as his disillusioned sons, and director Benedek displays a keen understanding of the material. First-rate in every way, a true classic.

In this hybrid mockumentary, superstar plastic storageware saleswoman Agatha Ruby's rise to capitalistic fame and fortune is undercut by her mysterious death. Through the ensuing murder investigation and interviews of family, friends, and rivals, hidden layers of family, friend, and job complexities are revealed, along with gender bias against women like Aggie, who seek to rise to the very top.

A housewife from a well-to-do family is picked to sit on jury duty. She eagerly accepts as she feels it is her right to make sure justice is served. However, her excitement evolves into fear as she solely discovers the truth of the case; the defendant is innocent and the real murderer is her husband.

His wife's nostalgia gives a man pause after a party in 1904 Dublin. Directed by John Huston. From the James Joyce story.
