Q: Does the speaker have a dual voice coil?
A: I can’t say yes or no pertains to your question, however after having Bose , yamaha and other outdoor speakers this is hands down the best sounding speaker I have EVER had for my backyard. The range is unbelievable weather u are 10’ feet away or 40. Would highly recommend
Q: If these are ceiling mounted, how far should they be positioned from the wall for optimum sound?
A: Ours were mounted about 4 inches from the wall and sound great. Don’t know if that’s optimum or not It was where the prewire was located
Q: What size wire is recommended? Is 16ga fine?
A: I use 14GWA wire, the thicker wire is better for long runs and outdoors, if your not running them more than 50ft 16GWA will be fine.
Q: Can these speakers sit on a table or do they have to be mounted to a wall?
