Definitive Technology continues to redefine the correlation between size and sound produced by subs. I purchased the DN10 to upgrade a Supercube2000. Like the SC2000, the DN10s punch well above their weight class! Definitive is accurate when stating the 10” sub plays more like a 12” sub. Since this was purchased for my living room the 10” model was the perfect size but I am very curious to hear what the DN15 sounds like. As you can see from my MultEQ-X measurements, this sub does play below 30Hz but if you want to go deeper you will have to upgrade to the 12” or 15” model. Regardless of which size you choose, I highly recommend buying at least 2. I started with one, but the bass did not sound balanced in the room despite running the BP8020s which have subs onboard. Once I added the second DN10 the bass was smooth and balanced. To round out the system I matched up the DN10s to the DM70s to maintain 10” subs throughout the build. This combination created the highest level of balance within my listening space. Room correction is definitely needed to really make this sub shine but when it is dialed in you will have an amazing system.

I didn’t have high expectations for the DN10 as the specs suggested it was a downgrade from our old ProSub 1000. However, the DN10 has exceeded my expectations. I can’t believe the performance of this subwoofer. It’s rated at 30hz when it has significant loudness at 25hz, literally rumbling our couches. At 25hz, it plays over 10db louder than the ProSub 1000. It’s incredible and very well built. Was so impressed that I went and purchased another to complete the pair. Great design.

Amazing subwoofer, going to add another to my system. I’ve had zero issues with it since purchasing. Definitely recommended for any good high quality home entertainment system.

Fantastic subwoofer for the money. On sale as well! Easy to operate. Great for movies and music. It's a bit larger than in the photo. Well worth the asking price.

I replaced two Bowers & Wilkins subwoofers with two DT10” subs for my home theatre. There was no comparison, the DT10’s blew them out of the water. I love them, finally some clean thundering theatre sound.

The subwoofer hit so well at 5% volume level. I had it for less than a week a started noticing a weird noice/rattling from one of the side speakers. Luckily I had purchased the warranty and was able to return to the store. A new Subwoofer was sent to me mail. The box was really beatup but after unpacking subwoofer appears to be working well (Fingers crossed).

Product was shipped to me and it came with a big hole in the box. Not sure if speaker is damaged. But I have Def Tech Prosub 1000 and it sounds amazing, so the DN10 should be even better.

Decent sub for the money. Watch out for the bp9060 speakers. Amps go out in them easily. Def tech sounds great when they work.

Remarkable sound on a compact package. I was blown away with the amazing bass sound and amazed with the power full punch of the bass. Definitive Tech got it right with this subwoofer. the look and finished makes it modern and stealthy. I highly recommended!

Heavy hitting but very clean bass. I would describe it as fast and accurate. Doesn’t go as low as a larger subwoofer but compact and decor friendly. Replaced an older Polk subwoofer that was on the fritz. That had a 12” speaker compared to the 10” with radiators on this model and this one is noticeably cleaner, less boomy, and more accurate while hitting just as hard.

It's not an overly loud subwoofer but it's a very detailed subwoofer and that's what I like so much about it. It's good for a small room setup however if you want a truly cinematic experience you need two of them. Definitely worth the money. If you're on the fence on getting it, Get It!

We bought two of these subs for our house and they put out great sound. Much richer, deeper tones and bass. They were plug and play with previous super cubes we had.

So glad I found this open box item. Paired with my KEF Q350 and Denon S660H my living room happy proper sound and bass. My room is filled and I only need to turn it up for 50% since I have a small 15x15 living room. Can't wait to put this in my next home in a proper theater room and crank it up.

Very impressed with subwoofer, for 10 in. But the deep bass feels like over 12 in. For the money it worth it.
