About this product
Dutch symphonic metal band Delain released their third studio album We Are the Others in 2012 to positive reviews from music critics. The album title was inspired by the murder of 20-year-old Sophie Lancaster, whose murder was likely a hate crime due to her being part of the goth subculture. The album spawned two single releases 'Get The Devil Out of Me' and the title track, for which the band shot a music video that included many well-known people from the metal scene, including George Oosthoek, Sharon den Adel, Robert Westerholt and Rob van der Loo. The album features guest contributions by the likes of Burton C. Bell (Fear Factory) and Marko Hietala (Nightwish) and was produced by Jacob Hellner (aka Tripod), who is best known for producing most of Rammstein's albums. This contains an insert and is limited to only 750 individually numbered copies on orange & black marbled vinyl. Double vinyl LP pressing. 2023 . Dutch symphonic metal pioneers Delain break into new realms with their eagerly awaited full-length Dark Waters. The pristine record marks a game-changing chapter in the band's history and presents the brainchild of keyboardist, founder and main songwriter Martijn Westerholt with a new lineup. Rejoining the fold and bolstering DELAIN's continuity are original guitarist Ronald Landa and original drummer Sander Zoer, while new members - terrific vocalist Diana Leah and bassist Ludovico Cioffi - continue to evolve their sound. Dark Waters follows the chart-breaking Apocalypse & Chill (2020), integrating the most refined sounds in the genre. Delain's renowned orchestral arrangements, highlighted by modern shadings, set new standards and manifest the five-piece on top of the scene. One of the best symphonic metal albums ever recorded, After Forever were ahead of their time, and laid the groundwork for bands yet to come.A long time ago, After Forever were a force to be reckoned with in the symphonic metal world. In this 15th anniversary edition there's two new songs, and especially Sweet Closure brings everything great about the band to the table for one last hurrah, and that of course includes impressive instrumentation. It's a glorious return to form, fitting perfectly in the album. This is a perfectly remastered version of their self-titled, and final album, sounding incredibly clear while not taking away any of the metallic punch from the original . Album Tracks 1. Discord 2.
