Q: How long does battery last?
A: I unplugged my laptop at 4:21 pm and got the low battery notice at 7:44pm. When I plugged in, my battery was at 6%.
A: Yes, you can bump the ram up to 32 gig.
Q: Can we add a solid state drive later , not replace the current drive but add another drive?
A: It has an M.2 slot, although it doesn't list it in the item description.
Q: Does this particular computer use a computer pen ?
A: There was a special when I bought my laptop. It came with a pen (stylus), a Bamboo Ink. I absolutely hate it. After I stop using the pen, I can't use the keyboard. I can't type or do anything. It'll reset after a while, or, you can reboot the laptop. But, who has time for that. I called Bamboo's tech support and they offered zero assistance as to why this happens and no resolution.
Q: Can a solid state drive be added to this computer and how does it work?
A: Yes, I am using Samsung 850 Pro 512 GB
A: I don’t see why you couldn’t. It is really fast if you install an ssd and should last a long time. The 8th gen Intel i7-8550u is about the quickest out there right now, unless you go non mobile platform like a desktop.
Q: does it come with microsoft word
A: It comes with a trial version of Office 365. It lasts for about 2-weeks, maybe. You'll need to purchase a subscription or buy it outright.
