When looking for a new computer I bought this because (kinda like buying a new car..) it felt right. And it was on sale. Not made of money so I could get the one I really wanted that was over 2k. To my surprise when I got home, I found out it flipped over to a tablet (obviously I don't read the details) that was exciting. So far, it's been great for the most part. I'd say the only downfalls so far is being slower with Lightroom sometimes and it seems to get hot really quick. I have one of those lap desk fans but when I have it flipped over in the tablet style, i feel the heat radiating off of it. But hey, the screen is beautiful!!! & It's touchscreen so it helps with zooming in and out on photos.

The Inspiron 16 2-in-1 laptop has met all my expectations. It is a pleasure to use and the perfect size and weight. The display, speed and performance exceed my expectations and I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Dell hit a homerun with this product.

The Inspiron i7620 2-in-1 16" with the Core i7 Gen12 has been a powerhouse from day 1. The OLED touchscreen does not disappoint. I am always impressed by how long I can work on just the battery. I do miss the 10key on the keyboard, but the exceptional performance of this machine makes up for it!

Am moving to the Inspiron from a Dell Latitude work laptop and the transition is easy. Overall performance is great. Image resolution is greater with the 16" OLED screen though the screen is glossier which reflects more background light. Am pleased with how it responds to demands of managing a wide range of personal work needs.

This is not a gaming Laptop so don't try it. The Graphics are stunningly and will give you amazing quality. The mouse pad has some issues here and there but nothing too crazy. If you're a designer this is for sure the laptop for you for it's easy foldable placement. The touch screen is very accurate and easy to use. It does get somewhat hot but that's every laptop. It won't over heat and shut off on you so don't worry. Final review I actually give it a 4.5

I have had a great deal of experience with Dell desktops, laptops and servers since the earliest days of the original PC’s Limited machines in 1985. Many of Dell’s machines are excellent, and the new Dell Inspiron 7620, 16”, 4K UHD, OLED 2-In-1 Laptop most assuredly deserves to also be described as excellent! The new Dell Inspiron 7620 has very good specifications matched with excellent performance. It is fast and powerful, and the graphics are absolutely stunning! The Inspiron 7620 comes loaded with Windows 11 Home Edition. The setup experience is customized by Dell and in addition to the Microsoft Windows setup, also includes Dell product registration and warranty and support setup. The Dell processes require establishing a Dell user account, or signing into an existing Dell account. Windows 11 immediately checked for updates, and found about 32 updates, including a BIOS update. Even with a fast network connection and the fast hardware of the Inspiron 7620, a good deal of time is consumed before the many updates are completed. Subsequent to those 32 updates, Dell Support Assist subsequently found several additional driver updates to install. The Inspiron is very thin, compact and relatively lightweight. The Dell specifications indicate a weight of 4.62 lbs. (2270 grams) with the 4K UHD panel. I found the weight to be 4.36 lbs (1978 grams), which is 10 oz. (292 grams) lighter than the printed specification. The Dark Green case color is quite unique. The shade is so dark that it could be mistaken for dark grey / charcoal. The all plastic case appears relatively sturdy and durable. There appears to be a very small amount of flex in the case. The top incorporates a design which elevates the rear, bottom of the laptop as the top is rotated open, ostensibly to provide additional space for air circulation under the laptop. The bottom of the case also incorporates a full-width fixed rubber foot for airflow and to reduce the potential for the laptop sliding when used on a hard surface. The hinge is not full-width, and there is a fair amount of flex in the top case which necessitates using due care when rotating the lid with the display panel. The display panel can be fully rotated to convert the Inspiron 7620 into a 16” tablet, or it may be partially rotated and the laptop can be used in a “tent” orientation or “stand” orientation. The Inspiron 7620 recognizes the rotation of the display panel and disables the keyboard and touchpad when it is being used as a tablet with an on-screen keyboard. The accelerometer also adjusts the display for either landscape or portrait orientation. This flexibility in how the laptop can be utilized is great. The touchscreen operation is flawless. It is extremely nice to have a great touchscreen when using the 7620 as a laptop, but it is of course essential when using it as a tablet. Having that large size panel for use as a touchscreen tablet is an absolutely excellent user experience and genuinely elevates the Inspiron 7620 well above typical tablets particularly when displaying content that might be difficult to see or conveniently work with on smaller screens. As a 16”, 4K UHD touchscreen tablet I am finding this Inspiron 7620 much more useful in general, and much more usable with many software applications than my smaller tablets. There are cooling vents located on the top-rear and bottom of the case. The 7620 is equipped with only one fan to moderate operating temperatures. The cooling vents located on the rear of the case direct heated airflow toward the lower quadrant of the display panel. With an i7 CPU and discrete graphics GPU the Inspiron 7620 generates a significant amount of heat. The top of the case including the palm rest areas and touchpad did not exceed about 92° F, however the area above the top row of the keyboard, which is evidently over the CPU, got as hot as 115° F and often is above 100° F during heavy use. The keyboard has excellent feel and response. The key travel is short with just the right amount of resistance and rapid return. The keys are fairly quiet, as well. However, in an evident design concession to providing speaker grilles on both sides of the keyboard, there is no numeric (NumPad) adjacent to the keyboard. I miss the ancillary numeric keypad which is rarely available on 16” laptops. The keyboard has two levels of white backlighting. The backlighting is good and effective. The 7620 has a large, approximately 5-1/4” x 3-1/2” touchpad, which offers exceptionally smooth functionality. The 7620 provides a capacitive, 500 DPI fingerprint sensor for biometric security, which is integrated into the laptop’s power button. The Windows Hello sign-in options include Facial Recognition, Fingerprint Recognition (multiple prints can be enrolled) and PIN code. I implemented all three and experienced some impediments with the enrollment of my fingerprints. Interestingly enough, the Dell Support Assist software found a new fingerprint reader driver during the setup of the laptop. Since the new driver has been installed the fingerprint sensor has been working perfectly. I developed a strong preference for Facial Recognition sign in with another Windows 11 device that I own. The 7620 performs flawlessly with Facial Recognition, and I find it to be the most convenient. The Inspiron 7620 is a well-equipped, nicely configured 2-In-1 laptop. The CPU is an Intel 12th generation Core i7-1260P (12Core/16Thread), 2.1 GHz (with a maximum clock speed up to 4.7 GHz) chip with 18MB Cache. The Inspiron 7620 is equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce MX550 GPU which is based on the TU117 Turing chip and comes with 2GB of GDDR6 graphics memory. With the powerful and fast i7 CPU and the excellent MX550 GPU, the highlight of the Inspiron 7620 is the display. The 7260 has a 16” panel mounted in a small frame. The panel has a 16:10 aspect ratio, and is a 4K Ultra HD+, 3840 x 2400, 60 Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio OLED touchscreen panel. This VESA Certified DisplayHDR 500 True Black panel with Dolby Vision has ink dark blacks, superb contrast and incredibly accurate color rendition. The display panel is phenomenal. It is an incredibly bright, clear, fast, almost flawless display that is a pleasure to look at! The display panel is glossy, therefore reflectivity may be annoying in certain ambient light environments, particularly in bright environments. Inasmuch as OLED panels are susceptible to burn-in (permanent image retention), I take special precautions with OLED panels. This includes using Dark Mode, setting a short interval for screen time-out which then reverts to a blank screen-saver, auto-hiding the Windows taskbar and only showing desktop icons on demand. The bezels are incredibly thin. The top bezel has the addition of a 1080p, FHD webcam with IR illuminators and a privacy shutter at its center. The Inspiron 7620 is equipped with 16 GB of DDR4, 3200 MHz memory expandable to 32 GB. The Inspiron 7620 supports PCIe 4.0, however this model is equipped with a Kioxia KBG40ZNS512G, 512 GB, M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.1a SSD, which is rated at 2,200 MB/s Sequential Reads and 1,400 MB/s Sequential Writes. The types and quantities of ports for connectivity are fairly good, especially considering the thin form-factor of the 7620. On the right side of the case there is one USB-A 3.2 Gen1 port, one SD Card reader and one 3.5mm Audio jack. On the left side of the case there is one HDMI 1.4 (not 2.0b) port, one USB-A 3.2 Gen1 port, one Thunderbolt 4 port with Power Delivery and DisplayPort for use with the 65 Watt power supply and one Thunderbolt 4 port with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. Adjacent to the ports is a small LED power and battery status lamp. There is no disk activity lamp. Wi-Fi 6 (802.11AX211) is supported as well as Bluetooth 5.2. The audio is outstanding. The quad speakers, which are oriented both upwards and downwards, are enhanced with Nx on Waves MaxxAudio Pro, (2 W x 4 = 8 W total) produce audio with excellent volume and clarity as well as with very good spatial qualities including 3D surround sound which even includes head-tracking with the PC camera. The 7620 is powered by an 87 Wh, six cell Li-ion battery. Thus far, using Dell’s Balanced Power scheme, the battery performance has been very good, up to about 10 hours with varied usage. I have the Dell Active Pen accessory, and suffice to say, it is a wonderful, helpful adjunct to this excellent laptop/tablet. The Active Pen is configured and customized using the Dell Peripheral Manager Software, which requires downloading and installing. In summary, the Dell Inspiron 7620, 2-In-1 touchscreen laptop is an excellent “Swiss Army Knife” laptop. It has very good specifications and demonstrates excellent performance. The 4K UHD+ OLED display is incredible, and the touchscreen functionality is likewise flawless and stellar. The display is a pleasure to experience! The Inspiron 7620 is well suited to both productivity applications as well as entertainment. The 7620s form factor and flexibility make it an outstanding choice for portability and for use at home, at work and when travelling. The flexibility of the 7620 being usable as a conventional laptop, as a tent or stand computer as well as a 16”, touchscreen, 4K UHD OLED tablet is incredible. The Dell Inspiron 7620 is now becoming my primary laptop and tablet, as I am thoroughly impressed with it and it is extremely nice to use.

Good features Big OLED Screen,touch with pen, convertible,great sound,light weight for me. CONS The white color is yellowish its not clear white. The Ram is Ddr4,it's 2022 laptop and it should has DDR5 ram. Dose not has numeric nubmers the right of the keyboard. And the BIG PROBLEM is the GLARE, I'm wondering no one mentioned this point in the reviews, it AWFUL because you will not concentrate at anything specially if you buy it for study or taking online courses.

This machine is pretty good. I bought this because MSFT and google are not supporting Windows 7 machines anymore. My first purchase was a Dell machine. The Dell machine crashed and had to be returned. I do not blame Best Buy for the crash. The exchanged it in a timely matter. It has been 3 weeks now and everything is good.

While still relatively little use since just purchased, it has everything I need to handle photography setup. Lots of speed for photo software apps. Beautiful screen results for viewing and editing images. Just pair with fast mouse.

Versatile, fast and powerful. The item arrived earlier than expected. Just what I needed for music production

Blue screen appeared when I use Photoshop, the pen just stopped working when I drew a picture using clip studio, the finger print was broken today. The screen is big and nice, but that’s all. I am so glade that the return time is after 15 days from the first day of purchasing. 15days is the enough time figure it out that this laptop is the worst. Plus, poor battery life.

I love my new laptop!! The color and size are both perfect. The speakers sound great as well. It’s also easy to use. The only downfall is the keypad is smaller than my other laptop. I’m still getting use to this as it shifts the way I type. Other than that, I love my purchase!

This is a nice 2-in-1 laptop from Dell. The specs are very good with a 12th gen Intel Core I7-1260P processor, 512gb solid state drive, and 16gb of system memory. The 16” OLED UHD+ display is quite nice and is all the better with dedicated graphics of the Nvidia GeForce MX550 with 2gb of video memory. This is a pretty slim laptop that weighs under five pounds so it’s nice to have the 16” touch display. If one travels the 2-in-1 flexibility is especially nice as one has four modes available that include laptop, tablet, tent and stand. Additional features that are nice to have include the fingerprint reader, infrared camera that can be used to unlock the laptop with facial recognition and utilizes Waves Nx with head tracking when in clamshell mode to provide 3D surround sound and decent audio with Waves MaxxAudio Pro and quad speakers. In terms of looks I like the Atlantic Green color; it’s nice to see something different than the usual black. Some may consider this minor, but it’s important to me when it comes to the feel of the touchpad and keys. The edge-to-edge glass-like mylar material across the palmrest and touchpad provides a very smooth surface and better yet, no weird texture. I appreciate the thought that went into the feel of the touchpad and keys to provide a comfortable experience. The included pen works well and it’s nice to have that included. My one complaint, but it surely is not unique to Dell, is I wish they wouldn’t include all the bloatware. I typically uninstall much of it and consider it more of a hassle than anything else. I’d recommend this Dell laptop for someone looking for a well-built laptop that offers some really nice specs and features. It’s not the smallest laptop in terms of travel or portability, but it is slim, fairly lightweight and offers great flexibility with touchscreen, included pen and 2-in-1 options. The OLED, touch display is great and the plentiful power and dedicated graphics support a wide range of uses from home to office.

I previously had the Dell XPS line of a 13”, then a 15” (older 2012 model). Now, this is my first time having an actual touch screen laptop convertible, which does fold back to a resemble almost a very big tablet. This is a pretty high performance machine as the specs are in that range; 12th Gen Intel Core i7 – 16GB Memory – 512GB SSD – NVIDIA GeForce MX550. This is a high performance laptop for casual use and some business applications, and definitely gaming (while graphics settings aren’t too intense). Screen real estate covers a lot of area, and I will definitely start to work at home very soon as once my training and probationary period at the home office is complete (and which prefers two monitors so I’ll be definitely hooking this up to an external monitor, and have the displays extended). The fan does ramp up at times but it’s not that loud, but it can pulsate at times especially when I set it up for the first time and go through all the updates software and firmware (at the most it only took a good hour, on a fast WiFi connection). From what I’ve read it’s just one fan which is just about the average number for most Dell Inspiron and XPS series, but a good sized one to get the cooling done. As a bonus a pen is included. I don’t tend to use it much hence this is a touchscreen but I think it would be a great addition if you were to use drawing and art applications. Or touching up photos like say you’re digital camera takes an SD card as this laptop has an SD Card Reader; you can import photos on the go. Webcam wise, this is a higher 1080p resolution camera than your average 720p, and for privacy reasons, there is a manual slider to use to cover the webcam lens if you wish. This is a great laptop, with quiet and soft keys while typing. The Mylar layer, across the area where you rest your hands, would reduce finger and palm prints, so it won’t have the look of wear that much. I do plan to bring this to the work office shortly to configure and to start working from home soon, for the duration of my new career position for a long lasting time.

The Dell Inspiron 16” 2 in 1 laptop has exceeded my every expectation. To start with the Atlantic Green color is beautiful and unique. In the box, along with the laptop, you get the charger and a pen with batteries and extra tips. My laptop came with a 60% charge. I immediately plugged in the charger as I knew that this would be necessary for the Bios updates. Setup was as fast and updates from Dell and Microsoft were installed quickly and without issue. It quickly connected to my wifi network and maintains a strong and uninterrupted connection. The Dell Inspiron came with an Intel i7 12th generation processor, 16gb of ram, 512gb ssd and a beautiful OLED screen. Windows Hello facial recognition and a fingerprint sensor are also included. The backlit keyboard is excellent with great visibility, good travel and bounce back when striking the keys. I found it very easy and comfortable to type. The hinge actually raises up the rear of the keyboard when the laptop is opened, making for a much more comfortable typing experience. The hinge is very smooth with no excess movement when utilizing the 2 in 1 features or when touching the screen by hand or using the pen. It easily converts to tent mode for watching videos and tablet mode. The OLED display has a minimal bezel which allows this 16” laptop to have the footprint of many 15” laptops. In fact it fits into a sleeve designed for a 15” laptop. The display has touch and pen support, and Dell even includes the pen. Dell has eliminated the number keypad and has placed excellent speakers on both sides of the keyboard. The camera is 1080p and provided excellent quality video along with very clear audio on video calls. The mousepad is large and operates smoothly and accurately with good feel. Alexa is also built in. I have not yet measured exact battery life, but so far I am very satisfied with the length of time between charges. In summary, there is so much to like about this laptop and absolutely nothing has been disappointing. Whether watching videos, making video calls, surfing the web, or using business and productivity software, the Dell Inspiron 16” 2 in 1 laptop was a joy to use. It is fast, has a vibrant Oled screen, a comfortable and accurate keyboard and mousepad. And it’s quiet and does not get hot.

Very good but the graphics is not well supported. I have tried to run simple programs required by college institution and it can hardly run it.
