So far this Dell has been a welcome relief in replacing my old computer. It's fast, has a clear display and plenty of space. There are 2 minor complaints. The keys are difficult to see with the backlight on, unless you are in the dark and the sound is not the best. The Geek Squad was able to download all my files and information from my old computer to the new one quickly. Overall, I am very happy with my Dell. Of course, time will tell.

I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase. I recommend this computer to any college major or anyone. This computer looks very premium and modern. The screen brightness is great. I sometimes have to lower the brightness because it's that bright. The graphics are so rich in color. I decided to get this laptop because it has a great screen size, numeric keypad and backlit keys. The big screeen allows me to have enough space for 2 windows side by side and the information is not crammed. PROS -backlit keys -fingerprint reader to login into the computer fast -thin bezels -alexa is bulit in -comes with windows 11 -beautiful silver color -built in webcam cover slider -airpods connect instantly and works great -touch screen and 2 in 1 laptop that workslike a laptop and tablet -numeric Keypad -really great keys for typing - Has all ports including USB-A (needed for my printer), SD card, USB-C, even HDMI -laptop is light and not chunky or heavy -the audio is great with wired earbuds and their is no lagging or delay when a video is paused CONS -battery life is not the best I had at the most 5 hours (Full charge lasted Lasted 4 hrs and 58 minutes ) of battery life doing college homework and the screen was very bright -backlit keys are kind of hard to see during the day or in a lit room -track pad is kind of hard but it takes getting used to it and its not bad, but is not the best either -camera could be better not very HD or bright -their is a slight delay in the audio when a video is paused for more than 20 seconds then played in youtube with the airpods

Solid computer. Beautiful display. Sound is less than ample. Produces a significant amount of heat. Keyboard would’ve been much better with black or dark grey keys. Difficult to see the keys due to the silver color keys.

Love this laptop. Runs quick, great display, very light and has plenty of space. I was leary on getting a Dell, however once again Dell did not disappoint!

There is only one thing I do not like about this product and that is the keyboard backlight. When backlight is on you can not see the keys and I believe light from screen also contributes to this problem. If the keyboard backlight could be changed to maybe dark blue or dark green, I believe it would correct this problem. Otherwise I love my laptop. What I want quickly comes up on the screen without the tapping of finger while waiting, as if your tapping finger will make it come up faster. Thank you dell and Best Buy for such a wonderful product that is so easy and fun to use. For being my first laptop I ever purchased, I am happy with product I selected for personal use and business use.

I've been using this computer for school basically every day since i bought it. No issues, runs amazing, the battery lasts a really long time if im just running something like Microsoft Word, but if I'm working in Ableton or VisualStudios I'll need to plug in after 2 hours or so. Thats not bad though, it's expected with more demanding programs with just a laptop. I hardly use the touch screen and have never folded it to use as a tablet. Lightweight so good for carrying around class.

Overall, a good laptop but consider the keys because it's hard to see the keyboard during certain times. The keyboard is the same color as the computer which makes it hard to see at certain times. We add to buy a black keyboard covering for the keys...see photos of the covering

I use it for all my office and school work as well as for some gaming. I take it everywhere and it delivers exactly what it promises. Perfect mix of portability and power. Battery could be better but they did not overpromise in that front so it deserves a 5 star no doubt!

This laptop is adorable. However, within 2 days of purchasing the laptop I experienced issues. The screen literally turned completely green. It lasted for approximately 20 seconds and occurred twice within a 2 minute span. I decided to only keep the tablet for week to see if it happened again. Fortunately, it did not occur again but I still felt uncomfortable keeping it. I spent over $1k on this tablet and to experience an issue the second day had me worried and confused.

I never write reviews, PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP! SO MANY GLITCHES!!!! I keep getting blue screens since right after I bought it. I contacted costumer support SEVERAL TIMES and not only they did not find the issue but they wanted to CHARGE to check if my software had any issues. TERRIBLE! BUY AN ACER OR ANY OTHER BRAND! I had an Acer laptop before this one that ran smoothly for six years, I just wanted a better one to run some more complex data analysis. The laptop was NOT cheap! I thought I would get good costumer support, but it was TERRIBLE!

The product is excellent and very fast and very convenient. I always like Dell products compared to other brands.

Hate it! Very hard to read keyboard! You can not read the keys unless you are in the right light. HATE IT

Nice 15.6” laptop; excels as a 2-in-1 with the ability to fold like a large tablet. Relatively speedy SSD; bootup not as fast as it should be. Battery life, so far, is terrible - under 5 hours, which in 2020 (nearly 2021) is wholly unacceptable. I will note Dell seems to be aware of this as another software upgrade for power management and a BIOS upgrade were pushed out within the last few days, Not too heavy; workable keyboard. Excellent screen. Intel Xe graphics a huge improvement on prior integrated graphics. 16GB RAM is fast and 500GB SSD is spacious enough. Lack of ports is, sadly, consistent with the industry trend. If you have 2 or more USB-C devices and can’t daisy chain them together, then pick 1, because there’s only 1 USB-C port (which happens to be a Thunderbolt port, so that’s good. Fits in laptop backpack. Power is provided thru proprietary mini plug, not USB-C power delivery, which is unfortunate. Easy to run Bulk Crap Uninstaller (BCU) and jettison startup delaying shovelware.

I give this Dell 4.5 stars. First of all this computer replaces a 6 year old Macbook Air and a 12 year old Dell Inspiron ( 2nd gen I5, windows 7). So as long as I got no blue screens of death, I consider this a huge upgrade. I have only had the machine for a few weeks so the jury is still out on quality, so far no problems. Windows 10 is a little bit different, but I'm learning. The machine is very fast to boot up, no lags or buffering when watching video. I'm old school - use the machine 95% of the time like a desktop. It sits on my desk plugged into the power. So can not comment on battery life or heat issues. Haven't used it in tablet mode or used the touch screen yet. I use a mouse, so can't comment on the trackpad. I bought this machine on the specs - wanted I7 11th gen, wanted 512gb SSD and 12 - 16GB DDR4 RAM, wanted both USB-C and USB-A ports, wanted a full size SD slot. This machine meets all these "wants" at what I considered a reasonable price. So far the only complaint I have is with the keyboard. Under certain lighting conditions (heavy sunlight or glare) it is very difficult to see the keys - silver keys with black lettering is much more difficult to read than black keys with bright white lettering on my older Dell. It is a QWERTY keyboard so if you a touch type, it doesn't matter. I happen to be a hybrid - I touch type with my left hand and hunt and peck with my right. So if I can't see the keys it is a little difficult. That is why 4.5 stars instead of 5.0. All and all I consider this a good purchase and would recommend it to my friends.

Very happy with my purchase. This is my second Dell Inspiron laptop. The first one purchased almost ten years ago. Needless to say, this new Inspiron is lightning fast, extremely lightweight, tons of storage and the backlit keyboard is a huge plus. Also very happy with the touchscreen. I did comparison shopping on the Dell website and Best Buy’s price was the same for the same product. Geek Squad transferred everything over to the new one for me since I was anxious doing that myself, taking the guesswork out of it for me. Also note this laptop does have a built in microphone which I need for my zoom meetings for work. I found in my research that not all laptops have this feature.

Very sleek. Light weight. Very fast and efficient. Does get warm when using extensively and gaming. Fan is a little loud but with the ram and computing power that is normal. Would have liked more storage options like 1TB. Definitely would recommend.
