This machine is a workhorse for adobe premiere editing. Double the ram and sell the memory that came with it. Edits 4K footage with little resistance. I wish the case was a little more expansion friendly but for the money this is a good buy.

The Dell Inspiron 5680 combines a lot of great attributes in a smallish case and a limited power supply. It will run just about any PC game out there at 1080p at maximum graphics settings with few issues. It's hard to argue with what you get for the price. The one thing holding back future gaming (e.g. graphic card) upgrades is the 460 watt power supply. But Geek Squad easily replaced that with a standard size Corsair unit of higher wattage. I was worried that a standard power supply wouldn't fit (it looked like a tiny non-standard space) but it turned out not to be an issue. The smaller size of the case (my last gaming PC was considerably larger) does mean that installing 2 graphic cards could be problematic. Though I haven't actually tested that. At a glance it just doesn't look like there's enough room to fit a second graphic card beside the existing one. But it should be able to handle 1 average size graphic card easily enough. Which was adequate for my needs as I anticipate simply upgrading to the best graphic card I can afford on a limited budget every few years. The Inspiron 5680 I bought was easy to set up and has been running smoothly. The inclusion of a small solid state drive was a big help. Since Windows boots from that solid state drive, the machine boots up very fast compared to my last desktop PC. I am a budget casual gamer who just wants to be able to play most games at high settings at 1080p (or maybe 1440 someday) graphics. I also want to be able to upgrade it down the road with better graphic cards to keep it current. The Inspiron 5680 gives me the ability to do that. I can't give it 5 stars because of the limitations of the 460 watt power supply it comes with. But once you overcome that hurdle with an after-market upgrade she's a solid machine for the money for casual regular gamers.

This computer boots up lightning fast thanks to the SSD drive and the 2TB drive for programs is roomy enough for all the games you might want to play! The Recon Blue case lights up nicely without overwhelming a dark room. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 is decent, although I may upgrade it at some point to a standalone card with it's own RAM. The mouse and keyboard included are basic models, it would be nice if it came with a gaming mouse and keyboard. All in all very happy with this purchase.

This is my very 1st Desktop PC and after a lot of research on computer hardware and features, I decided to go with this desktop for my budget price. I purchased the "Inspiron Desktop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 - 128GB Solid State Drive + 2TB Hard Drive" for a little under $1100 after tax and I couldn't be happier. Its great for the occasional gaming with friends as well as school and work applications and has the capability for upgrades on the hardware later down the road. Although there were a few other good deals at the time, the design and color of this computer caught my eye right away (my favorite color is blue). I have yet to find any issues with the computer and hope it stays that way but I've only used it for about 1 month. This computer is overall well rounded in all aspects but just like anything else, it all depends on what you use it for. Satisfied customer!

I upgraded my desktop pc from an old windows xp machine. I have only been using laptops for years. I have windows 10 on my current asus laptop, but glad to have a desktop again. Going to upgrade the hard drive and add more ram

This computer is meeting and exceeding my expectations. It is very fast and very Powerful. I use it for photo and video editing and music storage and syncing. I love it. The only thing I would have like is the case to accept an internal blu ray burner.

I specifically bought this to do photo editing in Lightroom, and wow, is it up to the task. My old pc would take forever to catch up with what I was doing. Not this one. I increased the size of the SSD and am super happy with the ease of setup, and the speed.

Computer runs nice and quiet and performs better than expected. I am very pleased with my purchase and believe that you would be too. Do keep in mind though that if your looking for a cd/dvd/Blu-ray drive that you will need to purchase this item separately as an external device because there is not one built in to this tower.

If you price out the individual components of this PC, it’s obvious that you’re getting a good deal. Only reason for 4 stars is the physical size... it’s about 30lbs, which is a lot for a college student that moves frequently. Otherwise, operation and appearance is perfect! Still runs like day one, I’ve never had an issue.

I actually purchased this computer for work with high performance in mind. I typically end up having 4-5 programs open with several files running open in each at any given time while working. I have no complaints to date. It starts-up immediately and programs open without delay.

Have had this computer for about a month now. Replaced old computer that died. Geek Squad did a great job recovering old data. Have installed a windows 7 emulator for my older autocad program- seems to work well. Computer is FAST and responsive. So Far So Good

This PC was a great deal. It has a high end CPU with brand names I like: Intel and NVIDIA. No game can slow it down, even VR games. The price was impossible to beat considering all that this PC has to offer.

Computer is a really good option for someone who needs an office computer who likes to game occasionally. It is able to handle bigger titles, but also you are not paying for features that an enthusiast would want and use. Great for the casual gamer who wants to not pay too much.

My 12-year-old son loves it. He thinks it's a wonderful gaming computer. He likes to brag with his friends. I am personally excited to have it and work on photoshop. So far it seems to function fast. I'll update the review in six months. It will be a more accurate review.

I do not play games but, I multitask and the computer speed is excellent for what I do. I am still learning everything that I can do with this computer, but the purchase was about getting a new computer that has enough technology to last me at least five years.

I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a computer for extra storage that I may not need. This computer allows me to easily add storage at a reasonable price. You can add accessories not included in the tower easily if you need them, and you don’t, you’re not paying for something you don’t need. It’s customizable, and that’s what I love about this machine.
