I had to update firmware on the laptop before it would recognize the battery. Frustrating because it should have worked to start with. But it has been great since then no problems

It fits, but not compatible?

On startup of the Dell laptop, an error message pops up that says “battery not compatible and will not charge”. Have to hit the “F1” key at the appropriate time to get computer to boot. However, once booted up, can run computer on battery power for several hours, then plug in and battery charges to 100%. Good old Dell recognizes it’s not an “original Dell” battery. So, battery actually seems to work fine, it’s just a nuisance once powered up. There’s got to be a fun x for this, but nothing I found in the accompanying guide.

Replacement Battery for Dell Laptop

Had to returned the product received due to unable to boot up the laptop properly and ordered another replacement. Possible defective part received per Geek Squad.

Great price for a replacement battery for Dell - XPS Laptop. It didn’t work for me, had prolem starting up. Sadly, it had to be returned.

I needed this battery for my laptop after the original battery konked out. Since it’s purchase the battery has been awesome
