    Great Turntable from Denon

This turntable is a beast. It is very heavy and well made. It performs well with my Ortofon 2M Red phono cartridge. There are numerous ways to tweak its sound too. One can adjust the tracking angle with ease and tonearm height. Connecting the turntable is very easy. The AC power cable, ground cable and tonearm cable is very easy. They are not recessed where they are hard to reach like my Technics turntable. The ebony finish is first rate. Overall this is the best turntable I’ve ever had.

Best purchase made in my music journey

The Denon DP-3000NE turntable is easily one of the best audio purchases I’ve ever made. It represents a substantial upgrade from my previous Technics turntable, with a difference in sound quality that is truly night and day. From the moment you see it, the DP-3000NE makes a statement. Its design is timeless and expressive, and the substantial weight immediately conveys that this is not just a visually striking piece, but a precision-engineered component built for serious performance. Most importantly, my vinyl has never sounded better. The clarity, depth, and overall musicality are outstanding. While it is certainly an investment, the performance and build quality fully justify the cost—you truly get what you pay for.

    Excellent Turntable

Tested with Technics SL1300G. This is much better than the Technics. For this price it is a steal. The audio quality surpasses many TT around its price and more.

    Great TT

I demo’d this, the SL-1200gr2 and the SL-1200G all with the same AT-OC9SL cartridge. The Denon sounds better than the GR2, but the G sounds a bit better to me than Denon, but at $2k more its not that much better. Denon FTW!

    A very nice turntable

Turntable is solidly built with a nice heavy platter. Comes up to speed very quickly when turned on. Stops nearly instantly when turned off. Paired with a Denon DL-103R cartridge, the sound is very pleasing. I had forgotten how good vinyl can sound. It is a bit of a ritual to clean the record and manually start and stop playback, but that somehow adds to the listening pleasure.
