I've purchased two of these units -- only one from BB -- the other from another vender. Installed them into two different systems -- home and office. They both work great. Installation was easy-peasy in both instances -- just followed instructions. They deliver wonderful sound. I've been considering purchasing a tuner for another system -- but will probably go with another of these units. There's global program availability from many sources -- way more than a simple FM tuner. But have a request for Denon -- please keep working to add program sources to Heos software updates. Streaming services keep popping up -- it would be great to get access to them through the app and gear. Look to Roku, who keeps adding streaming services, as a role model! (BB sells Roku as well -- another great product!)

Yes, the sound is great if you just want to listen to music. This system didn't work for me, however, as my goal was to integrate TV sound with the whole house stereo system. There was an untenable time delay between the TV speaker system and the Heos speaker system resulting in an untenable echo between the two. This problem was resolved for me by switching to Sonos.

Sounds better than Sonos. I literally compared the sound quality to the Sonos connect and I was blown away by the sound quality. I am currently using a Marantz in the living room and Dennon in the master bedroom. Being able to stream my music and TV all in one app is so worth it. Just make sure you update the software

Unit behaves as advertised however, there are problems with Linksys routers that aren't mentioned up front. Not a problem for myself as my router is about 4 years old now and is starting to show its age.

I have HEOS equipment throughout my home and uses this particular HEOS Link along with my vintage Sony Receiver to supply music from my Pandora, SiriusXM, Amazaon Music Unlimited UHD and more to my garage music system. This device is great! It takes any stereo with RCA inputs and turns it into a modern streaming stereo! I have had HEOS products (all bought at Best Buy) for several years now and I can say without hesitation that HEOS and Denon/Marantz make the finest and easiest multi-room home music system there is! I may have to get one more of these for a vintage console stereo that I am working on. As I said, I have used Denon HEOS equipment for several years now and have purchased it all from Best Buy and give many HEOS speakers as presents to family and friends because in my estimation, HEOS is THE BEST!

works great with an amp! Apple Music can only be listen to via Bluetooth but the HEOS app does great and easy set up for other streaming services and music saved to a device.

Good hardware, really poor software. I've owned two Denon HEOS Amp HS2, and I've sold both of them. The app would stop working and freeze. I had to disconnect and reconnect the amp power cord in order to gain access to it again. I am now using a BlueSound PowerNode amp, and the has the same issues as the HEOS Amp HS2. For what these units cost, I rather recommend buying a Networked AVR. My Denon X4200 that I've got in my home theater system works much better than a stand alone music streamer. The good things about the Denon HEOS Amp: 1) It supports a lot of music providers. 2) It's sound good. 3) It's awesome when it works. The bad: 1) Software. When the app doesn't and freezes. 2) Disconnecting power from the unit to regain control. 3) Having to run initial set up multiple times when re-installing the app. The Denon and Bluesound have a better DAC than Sonos. However, I don't think most people will notice the sound difference.

It is frustrating when dealing with technical support on a connection issue that the response is "it is a known issue" and that there is no known ETA for correcting. This is labeled as a wireless amp, and I'm told that the only workaround is to wire it directly to the router, which for an outdoor patio is not an option. I purchased this through a service provider (and not thru this site), and although I'm in a warranty period, I'm not in the return window. Best advice: stay away from a company that doesn't correct its known problems. 2nd best advice: if you buy, make sure it works asap, so you can return it if you have problems

How can you sell this, your Geek Squad has tried 4 times out to my house to get it to work. it does not sync with the WiFi. I would never buy it again and I bought 3 heos amps that are now papper weights.
