Dessiderium - Aria - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Somnuri does not keep their feet planted in surface reality. The Brooklyn-based trio's flavor of heavy metal stomps from genre to genre with the fervor and confidence of a band ready to cross thresholds of all that's perceivable and possible. Somnuri comprises lead guitarist and singer Justin Sherrell, drummer Phil SanGiancomo and bassist Mike Gaworecki. They've earned attention from publications including Revolver Magazine, BrooklynVegan, MetalSucks, MetalHammer, and others. Their latest effort is a testament to the band's insatiable work ethic and cements them as one of heavy metal's most exciting emerging artists.

The brainchild of guitarist Jon Madof, Zion80 is a dynamic 10-piece ensemble that explores the Jewish tradition through the lenses of afro-beat, funk, rock and jazz. Drums and percussion drive this tight band of horns and guitars into a polyrhythmic intensity as driving grooves blend with the madness of the Downtown scene. Spiritual, grooving and endlessly exciting, this is essential Jewish music for the 21st century. Even better than their installment of the Book of Angel, Hod is a dynamic highpoint to the Beriah series! Masada meets afro-beat.

Nemesium presents their 2020 debut album Continua. The album represents a true hybrid of all corners of extreme music, channeling various stylings from old school and modern death metal to the darkest melodic black metal from the '90s Scandinavian scene.
