Destroy Boys' catalog vinyl is back in stock! 2024 has been a big year for the band with the of their new album, Funeral Soundtrack #4 (available on Hopeless Records) and Epitaph Records are harking back to these two seminal vinyl releases from the band's early days, just in time for Black Friday! Destroy Boys formed in 2015, when founding members Violet Mayugba and Alexia Roditis were just 15 years old, and each has marked a period of growth and change. InchLooking back, our first three albums marked the deaths of things,Inch says guitarist Violet Mayugba. InchThey were soundtracks to our funerals, whether they were for our ages, our mental states. We've gone through a lot of changes as a band and as people.Inch InchThe first one (Sorry, Mom) was our high school album,Inch Mayugba explains. InchOn the second record (Make Room), we went to college and were saying goodbye to our childhood.     Swell Season - Forward - Ivory   - VINYL LP

    Ivory Vinyl. The Swell Season is back. After reconvening for a limited number of sold-out shows, including Radio City Music Hall in New York, the duo returns with new music. A studio session that started out as an effort to create a couple of new songs for tour, ended up yielding a full-length album, fittingly titled InchForwardInch their first full length album in 16 years after the huge global success of their Oscar winning turn in the film InchOnceInch. It's story and accompanying soundtrack also went on to become an award-winning musical around the world. The album consists of 8 tracks written by Glen Hansard and Markeeta Irglovae, who take turns singing the lead. Building on the foundation of and with respect to their shared history, they move forward as two equals, supporting and lifting each other up. Accompanied by old band members and produced by Sturla Mio Thorisson, they create a sound both old and new for The Swell Season. This year sees the band touring again across the UK/Europe and the US, with all shows either sold out or nearly sold out including the prestigious Royal Festival Hall in London. Album Tracks 1.     Around the Fur the follow-up to Deftones' passionate, aggressive Adrenaline, sees the California quartet expanding on the sheer rage of their earlier work, adding new, more sinister shades to their already extreme sound. The opening InchMy Own Summer (Shove It),Inch serves as an introduction to the album's sonic theme sinewy guitars and eerie whispers alternate with fast, violent crunch. Sepultura's Max Cavallero contributes guitar and vocals to InchHeadup,Inch while InchMXInch finds singer Chino trading off vocal lines with Annalynn Cunningham, (wife of Deftones' drummer Abe) in an acerbic take on the rock star mentality. Vocal acrobat Moreno attacks a variety of styles his breathy, psychotic recitations sound downright industrial, while the album's calmer, more brooding moments show his gift for haunting melody. Behind him, guitarist Stephen Carpenter's heavy wall of sound is astoundingly muscular, yet inspiringly agile. When Deftones' hellish fury hits full tilt, as it always does on this album, Moreno's voice erupts into screams which are best described as otherworldly, transforming this intense musical firestorm into a hurtling juggernaut of aggression. Purple Rain is the sixth studio album by Prince, the first to feature his backing band The Revolution, and is the soundtrack album to the 1984 film of the same name.
