Determine - Mi Go Through Dat - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Future Shine represents Flor's most collaborative body of work to date. Feeling uninspired to write while alone during quarantine, Grace gathered his bandmates - Dylan Bauld [bass], McKinley Kitts [guitar], and Kyle Hill [drums] - at Bauld's Los Angeles studio for a series of writing sessions as soon as it became safe to do so. This time around, they built the bulk of the songs face-to-face, inspired by favorite records from the likes of MGMT, Phoenix, The Killers, and M83. InchThere was immediate magic. Imagine if we went back in time to my garage, but we had all of this experience writing songs and touring together? That's what it was like. All of these years culminated in feeling like kids again,Inch adds Kitts. Across the album's 11 tracks, Flor excavate unshakable melodies from jubilant synths, buoyant beats, and rich guitars as they relay a coming-of-age story all their own. TRACKLISTING 1. 24 2. This is the album that started it all. Cock Sparrer has InchShock TroopsInch. Rancid has InchLet's GoInch. The Aggrolites have InchDirty ReggaeInch; and off the back of this album emerged a scene embracing that term itself, that would grow to be bigger than the band could ever be. InchDirty ReggaeInch is now in-and-of-itself a category of Reggae that has taken the world by storm over the past decade-and-a-half. 15 years after the original of this pinnacle record, Pirates Press Records and Axe Records have teamed up to repress InchDirty ReggaeInch, and make it widely available to all those who haven't been able to find this classic for a long time! Nobody could've guessed at the time, preparing an assembly of musicians to support classic reggae artist Derrick Morgan, that the project would lead to a band that has truly changed the face of Reggae. As with other classic albums, from the moment the needle touches down, the music takes the listener to a special place; in this case, one that has and continues to inspire others to build upon what this integral band has started. This 'standard' version brings this truly important record back into press, in a way that can be accessible to a whole new generation of Reggae (and vinyl) lovers across the globe. Album Tracks 1.
