Ready to get spooked? It's difficult to do something fresh in the over saturated genre of found footage/documentary style filmmaking but the director Adam Green has done it. If you like horror movies and, in particular, MONSTERS then this movie is the one for you. Do yourself a favor. I only gave it 4 stars because i thought it ended on a weak note and because I don't want to anger anyone who bought it off of my review and feels it's nowhere near a 5 star. That said, this movie has something for every horror fan.

This movie is really good. Way more and way better than I expected. The suspense and jump scares are definitely some of the best I have ever seen.

This is a nice little flick. I've at least enjoyed everything I've seen from Adam Green (Frozen - no, not THAT one, the other one, and Hatchet). The meta approach here works well enough, even with the tired found footage aspect. If you're a horror fan and looking for something slightly off the beaten path with creators who have a genuine passion for the genre, you could do worse. That being said, the story doesn't completely work. I can forgive that, though, as I loved the creature fx and designs. Do you appreciate Green's previous work? If so, you'll dig this. ;)

Works well enough as a thriller but horror fans may be disappointed by the lack of impact.

This movie isn't as scary as they make it out to be. Don't get me wrong you actually just might like it. I thought it was okay it was different I t wasn't 1/2 as scary as they advertise but that's still okay because I though the movie was okay.

Excellent movie. I have been a long time fan of Alex's art (I own a bunch of prints, books etc) so when he teamed up with Adam Green (Hatchet) to do a movie, I was pumped to see the results. It is a handi-cam/found footage style movie, which generally turns me away from it immediately, however, the story line is interesting, the monsters are incredible (wish there were more) and all in all its rewatchable time and time again...

I was not expecting the movie to be what it was, but it is worth watching. Maybe rent it first before buying.

Really enjoyed this mockumentary-style horror movie on blu ray. This was unique as it was not a typical found footage horror movie. It was based on actual real cult horror director, Adam Green, being followed and making his own documentary film. The PQ and AQ on the disc was fantastic as well.

I am a big Adam Green fan. Love his other films. Was a little skeptical about a doc style film but I wound up loving it. It was refreshing seeing practical effects and not CG. Great film!

I didn't know who Adam green was but I seen him at a convention and he was so down to earth and really cool so I bought his film. OMG! I loved every minute of it. If you haven't seen this movie... go see it!

I really enjoy Adam Greenes previous films Hatchet and Frozen, but feel this one was just so-so. It just didn't have any scares to go along with a story that was interesting.

This movie is filmed through one of the character's camera which actually made this movie more scary. There were a few slow parts but overall I thought this movie was great and interesting.

Movie starts rather slow and is shot like it's a mock documentary, when I watched the trailer online it didn't give the impression that this would be what I was watching. The movie follows someone who claims that they have found monsters in an underground society and the movie follows this film maker who wants to talk and film his monster hunt. Well it takes until the last 15 minutes or so for the movie to get interesting and even then your so frustrated that your over watching it.

Adam green has once again proved himself worthy of horror films. This is a great take on the found footage genre that is new, hip and scary!
