Dispar - Autumn Ends - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2009 album from the reunited Metal band, whose last was the 2004 album Words Are Not What They Seem. Perdition Diaries is something of a statement, the fruit of a return to the roots of Autumn blaze, and it comes across like a creative eruption. This album is a tribute to 1990's-era Dark Metal, to a time where the conventions of Metal were trampled underfoot and the genre's conceptual chains were irrevocably broken from the inside. The band has returned to the unvarnished originality of their artistic and creative urge. The personal destinies portrayed here turn into symbols that come alive in the depths of the listener's emotions, weaving their own images there and opening their own unique, sealed-up diaries. Prophecy.

You'll bob your head and scream your favorite lyrics over these eniticing mood pieces.

SHM-CD. Mellow Madness stands as a testament to Q's remarkable talent for creating a captivating, sonic tapestry through the intersections of jazz, soul and funk. This is top-tier 1970s soul jazz, while transcending it's time and continuing the polished, percolating soul direction of Body Heat. The album introduced the Brothers Johnson, co-writers on four tracks, who sprinkle their trademark vocal harmonies on the funkiest of grooves, while the Watts Prophets heralded a new music genre, blending spoken word and beats on InchBeautiful Black Girl.Inch A highlight may be Stevie Wonder's euphoric InchMy Cherie Amour,Inch with vocals from Minnie Ripperton. Wah Wah Watson adds genius syncopation to InchTryin' to Find Out About You.Inch The last cut on the album is beautiful jazz standard, InchBluesette,Inch featuring a trombone jam and Toots Thielemans' virtuoso whistling. SHM-CD (Super High Material) features more clarity, depth and definition of sound.
