Eugen Jochum - Requiem Mass / Te Deum [COMPACT DISCS] date 12/12/1995

The present is the world premiere recording of complete songs by Czech-German composer Hans Winterberg. Thanks to this recording you can enjoy this music for the very first time. On 2 albums, you can discover the many different moods and colors of Winterberg's writing. These songs were usually inspired by particular poets, for example Franz Werfel, Ludwig Uhland or Roderich Menzel. The performers have studied the music from Winterberg's autographs as there is still no modern critical edition, which is very unique.

TEKE TEKE is a 7 piece band featuring a Shinobue (traditional Japanese Bamboo flute), a Taisho Koto and a trombone alongside fuzzy guitars and a rhythm section to create a sound reminiscent of 1960's - 70's era psychedelic Japanese soundtracks, while remaining undeniably modern and punk. Their debut album entitled 'Shirushi' (or 'signs of great changes to come') takes you through a vast array of imagery with themes of identity, spirituality, rebirth and the profound exploration of oneself.
