I'm so happy that Limited Run could bring us this fantastic game in a physical version. I've sunk many hours into Divinity on the PS4 and am now very glad to be able to own this on the Switch, where I can take it on the go. I'm not a big fan of buying digital games if I can avoid it, so being able to get this game on an actual cartridge has been a delight.

The game itself is a legendary CRPG throwback to the old days of computer gaming, with deeply satisfying combat, superbly-designed quests, and an engaging story tying it all together. Its availability on Switch is icing on the cake, as the game lends itself well to Nintendo's hybrid console. With PC cross-saves, you really cannot go wrong with this title. The physical edition is, in my view, well-worth the mark-up (the digital version is $50) due to the inclusion of a wonderful instruction booklet and the ability to save precious storage space on your Switch or SD card.

First let me say..great game, lots of content. It is a turn based RPG though, so be warned. However it is accessible for every skill level. Explorer is the easy difficulty, classic is normal, tactician is hard. Also there is a noticeable downgrade going from docked to handheld mode. The lower resolution results in the game looking blurry in certain spots, but not to a problematic degree. On the plus side the Switch and the Switch Lite relatively small screens are capable of handling everything you need to see without feeling cramped. Even the on-screen text is easy to see in handheld mode. Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition is a masterpiece and a dream come true for RPG fans. Definitely worth buying, as it has plenty hours of gameplay for your money.

I've had the pleasure of playing this game on the PC, but I had to buy it on the Switch as well because I love it so much. No other game gives you the immersive feel of being in a Dungeons and Dragons campaign as much as this game does. The game runs surprisingly well on the Switch and doesn't cut out any of the features on the PC version either which is an impressive feat from the developers. Having this game in a portable form factor as well as still having co-op and cross-platform cloud saving functionality is a joy to experience.

This hardcore rpg is a great title for the switch. The portability of the Switch compliments all the dialogue giving you more opportunities to spend time with such a big game in the go. It obviously doesn’t run as good as on other platforms but it is very polished and is a worthwhile sacrifice to take this game on the go.

Divinity OSII is an awesome RPG with story, so much to do and crazy combat. It does have a learning curve but once you get the hang of it you don't want to put it down. I find myself wanting to play when I'm not. It's been while since a game did that. I have 30 hours in an not even out of the first part of the game.

Played this a while ago on the pc. It’s a decent port and it’s awesome to be able to play this handheld. Graphics are decent but it’s really all about the excellent gameplay. Controls are decent but keyboard and mouse is a little easy to use. Overall an excellent must have game to add to your switch collection.

As someone who isn't' a big fan of tactical and top down RPG's I have to say this game is amazing. Great combat, characters, story and music. I love the in depth character interaction and that you can create your own character to fit in perfectly with the story. Would definitely recommend!

This game is brutally hard in the beginning but so satisfying as you figure out how to exploit the combat and explore the world. The game looks great on the standard switch screen in handheld and looks decent on the TV. The game comes with a manual that provided an overview of the different characters and skills which is pretty handy. It also cross saves with Steam which is a great feature. If you are into deep, challenging RPGs you should definitely give this a go.

From someone who has never been a fan of turn-based strategy games, I was hooked on Divinity OS 2 from the very beginning. Decided to pick this up based on some recommendations from friends and wasn't expecting much, but was blown away by the leveling system and combat. You're given the ability to save at any time, so saving before a pivotal moment is a must and allows you to learn from your mistakes on the fly. Most hours I've put into a Switch game by far.

In the same vein as Baldur's Gate, this western RPG builds and expands upon the same tropes. It is not innovative in terms of gameplay, but the story is compelling and really drives the interest of the game. You do not need to have played the previous game to understand the dynamics of this game, but it adds to understanding the lore. Overall, it is a fun western RPG that doesn't push the envelope, but illustrates why one can get lost in a western RPG.

I own this game for PC, Xbox and PS4 and just had to grab it for the switch strictly for the portability. As expected the graphics aren't up to par as the other systems, but I love laying in bed or hanging out in a comfy chair and playing a game I absolutely love. The Switch has continued to impress me with being able to port over titles that I enjoy while giving me the ability to take them on the go.

Great DnD style game. Fun gameplay and even better with the portability of the switch.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game on its original release, and now that the Definitive Edition is on Switch I've re-purchased to experience one of the best RPGs in recent years. Tells an amazing story, and your decisions will affect many things and even secondary plots. No efforts were wasted on the battle system either. Overall this is one of my top 5 games on the Switch, endless entertainment!

Deep mechanics, original characters, and interesting stories all wrapped up in a portable package that's hard to beat. It runs great on the switch, graphics take a hit from the original, but it works for the style and accessibility. Haven't used cross-save with PC but nice that its an option. All and all super glad to have a physical version of such a great game.

The attention to detail is so obvious in this game. The narrative, the player-driven loop, the depth of detail to each character, the fact that it's fully voice-acted, I'm blown away by this game. The gameplay takes a minute to get used to, but it is so worth the time investment.

I played this on PS4 and loved it. This game is like playing Dungeons and Dragons. A very challenging and engaging experience that takes time and patience to master. A must play before Baldur's Gate 3 comes out.

Limited run so hop on this. Infinite amount of replay times because of multiple characters that each have multiple outcomes to their story. Extremely fun game. It will be worth way more than $60 because of the limited run.

I am so happy I got this physically. I passed on the Limited Run order because I hate how you have to pay upfront with them and then it takes 6 months to get your item. But Best Buy came through.
