The 12-track LP is an exploration of letting go, embracing the present, and turning Inchwhat ifsInch into acceptance. InchIf This Is It is about reflecting on the past without dwelling in it, and finding harmony in restlessnessInch Seinfeld commented. InchThrough writing it, I've tried to turn long-held anxieties into acceptance, and I hope listeners can take their own meaning from itInch. Jakobsson approached his DJ-Kicks with the intention of representing all the things that made him fall in love with dance music more than a decade ago, as well as showing some of the progression that has occurred in that time and reflecting the simultaneous fear of leaving something safe behind as well as the excitement of venturing into unknown territories, musically and emotionally.
