Limited triple 'Sense-Sphere marble colored vinyl LP pressing presented in individual pockets which, when placed in order, reveal a double-sided composite illustration. An accompanying booklet supplies cast and credits, and inner bags featuring complete episode billings. Includes embossed, frameable art print. Demon Records presents a narrated TV soundtrack from the very first series of Doctor Who, starring William Hartnell as the Doctor. The TARDIS lands on board a spaceship, in orbit around a planet known as the Sense-Sphere. The Doctor and his companions learn that the human crew have been imprisoned on their craft by the Sensorites, who blame them for the introduction of a fatal disease. When the Sensorites steal the TARDIS lock, the travelers are forced to go with the aliens to their planet and attempt to broker peace between the races. But many dangers lie ahead. This 1964 TV adventure is narrated by William Russell, who also plays Ian Chesterton. The supporting cast includes Jacqueline Hill as Barbara and Carole Ann Ford as Susan, with Stephen Dartnell, Ilona Rodgers and Lorne Cossette. The Second Doctor (Patrick Troughton) is thrown into his first rematch with the Cybermen in the year 2070. Humans have colonized the Moon, and the Cybermen have identified their base as a strategic vantage point from which to invade Earth! Can the Doctor and his companions Polly (Anneke Wills), Ben (Michael Craze) and Jamie (Frazer Hines) stop them? First broadcast in 1967, this exciting adventure was written by Kit Pedler and directed by Morris Barry, with a guest cast including Patrick Barr, Andrew Maranne, Michael Wolf and John Rolfe. Whilst only two of the four episodes are known to survive on film, thankfully all four are available as sound recordings, complete with the BBC Radiophonic Workshop's familiar Doctor Who theme music. With a superb cover illustration depicting the Cybermen on the Moon, these two translucent 'Blue Moon' discs are housed in beautifully designed inner sleeves with vintage TV guide-style listings for each episode. Demon Music presents a narrated full-cast TV soundtrack adventure starring William Hartnell as the Doctor, in an epic quest to defeat his arch-adversaries, the Daleks. In this classic 12 part 'lost' adventure, first shown on BBC TV from October 1965 to January 1966, the Daleks threaten to destroy the fabric of time itself. In their quest to control the Solar System, they have taken possession of the devastating Time Destructor. Determined to stop them, the Doctor (William Hartnell) steals the core of the weapon. He and his friends are thus pursued across Time and Space by their ruthless, powerful nemeses. This narrated TV soundtrack evokes a classic Doctor Who adventure in all it's aural magnificence. From the eerie sonics of Ron Grainer and Delia Derbyshire's theme tune, and the familiar 'wheezing, groaning' of the TARDIS, through screaming jungle worlds and an array of spacecraft, the story is alive with weird and wonderful sound. Written by Terry Nation and Dennis Spooner, this is the longest single Doctor Who adventure ever made for television.
