About this product

Equally at home with an acoustic guitar in hand tearing at the heartstrings of the audience, he's an inducted UK Blues Hall of Fame Artist as a result of three consecutive acoustic awards, and his trusty telecasters and Les Pauls that lead his power trio, delivering him two consecutive Instrumentalist of The Year Awards, Dom tours internationally on a regular basis and has built a reputation for his emotional and powerful legendary shows. His latest album InchBuried In The HailInch garnered rave reviews and was voted Best UK Blues Album of 2024 at the UK Blues Awards. Whilst touring the UK and Europe in 2023/2024, many tracks from Buried In The Hail were recorded live along with several from his previous albums, Spain To Italy and A Savage Life. The result is Buried Alive, a double live album by one of the most exciting artists to come out of Ireland in a very long time.

Riding the least likely commercial success of the 90s with Modern Rock chart topper InchPepper,Inch Austin odd rockers Butthole Surfers returned to the studio in 1998 for the followup, After The Astronaut. Leaning further into experiments with electronics, hip-hop, acid grooves, and the otherwise unusual, the result is a dizzying orbital trip expanding the idea of what's possible in rock music.Disputes between The Butthole Surfers and Capitol Records left the album unreleased, while the band regrouped and re-recorded some of the material for 2001's Weird Revolution, released through Hollywood Records. After The Astronaut collected dust, eventually developing a mythic status.A quarter century later, Butthole Surfers are realizing their vision for After The Astronaut. Newly mixed by guitarist/producer Paul Leary, After The Astronaut corrects the record on the band's activity in the late 90s with a bold, idiosyncratic evolution of their sun-fried psychedelia.
