Been wanting to buy the series for a while now and Best Buy had the best price for all season in one box set. Through PBS it would of been about quite a bit more. They shipped within 24 hours of purchase and now I have a new one to binge watch

Got this as a Mother's Day gift along with seasons 2 and 3! My Mom adores this series! A lot better than the movies, she highly recommends watching!

I actually haven't watched much of this series yet, but am looking forward to getting into it more. I heard nothing but good things about this series. I'm happy with my purchase.

We have been waiting to get the entire set of all seasons of Downton Abbey for quite a while now. We wanted to be able to binge watch it anytime we wanted to, and that is how we are enjoying the sept right now. All of our friends have raved about it over the years and we were very happy to find the entire boxed set at Best Buy. I also felt very fortunate because I got the last one on the shelf!

Both my sister and sister-in-law had told me about this series; I wasn't sure that I would like it but right away I got interested in both the characters and the time period. I especially loved that DA tells the stories of both Upstairs and Downstairs people! And their interactions. Go ahead, give it a try... you'll get hooked!

I cannot express how much I''ve enjoyed this series and I intend to buy the remainder series. The show does not insult the intelligence of a mature viewer. The plots are interesting and inticing. The actors are classic, beguiling and convincing. The setting is so beautiful and alluring it draws the viewer to the mise en scene. Over all it is wonderful.

Downton Abbey is one of the best series from England I have ever watched. Each episode is done well. The actors are great in their respective rolls. Dame Maggie Smith has many comic comments that keep me laughing. The home that the series is filmed in is a treasure in itself. It (the series) is also an historical review. All in all, I highly recommend it.

I've only watched the first 2 Episodes so far, but find this program to be intriguing with its turn of the century theme. I love how electricity has just been installed in some of the home, but not ALL rooms... and they didn't think it would be that important in the kitchen. Women cannot inherit property, or titles.... we've come a long way...

We had heard of Downton Abbey - but had never seen it before. On the the recommendation of some friends we decided to go all in and get the series. An excellent decision on our part. Its a fabulous story with great acting. It really sucks you in - so be warned, you'll spend a fair amount of time in front of the telly for this one.

Downton Abbey is a masterfully done series. Everything about it exudes excellence. It has a wonderful cast, is a well written story, performances are fantastic, and the settings, decor, and costumes are breathtaking. This is a superb work of art.

I love this series. Thought it was going to be one of those run of the mill dry British dramas, but it is not. It sort of suck you into their world. The actors play their characters really well. Very entertaining and looking forward to the next episode and season!!!

I ordered the blu-ray of Season One of Downton Abbey as a gift. Given it is an older show, and not always easy to find, the dvd was available and reasonably priced. It shipped promptly and arrived on schedule and in plenty of time. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I did not start to watch Downton Abbey till others told me that it is a great story. This 3 disc set will fill in the missing pieces of a 12 year story that follows some complicated characters through the toughest times of their, and their country's, changing times.

I have enjoyed this series since the beginning. I'm slowly trying t buy all the seasons so I will be able to have "Downton Abbey" marathons whenever I please. I love the attention to detail in regards to not only the costumes but the mores and attitudes of "days gone by".

I absolutely love this series. It is beautifully done. The story is well developed and engaging. The characters are expertly portrayed and easily connected to. If you like period movies and books you’ll love this series.

This was an excellent purchase. The story line is one that will keep you hating some of the characters and loving others. The period that this was set in is one that I would like to have been in. It is very informative as to the way of life back in that time period.

I purchased for a Christmas gift and remain hopeful it will be just as good as original PBS viewing. I'm hoping the cds are free from any complications both vocally and viewing. This concern remains to be seen when opened and viewed.

Even if you are not interested in the early 1900's the stories of the people who live here are GREAT . This is a show about different types of people living together in one place all of them loving Downton and all of them wanting to be there .
