Dredd - DVD

The future America is an irradiated wasteland. On it's East Coast lies Mega City One a vast, violent metropolis where criminals rule the chaotic streets. The only force of order lies with the urban cops called Judges who possess the combined powers of judge, jury and instant executioner. The ultimate Judge, Dredd (Karl Urban) is tasked with ridding the city of it's latest scourge - a dangerous drug and the sadistic prostitute turned drug pusher who is using it to take over the city.

While visiting Tijuana, Mexican-American Gloria (Gina Rodriguez) is kidnapped by a violent drug cartel and forced to work for them, smuggling cash across the border. She soon becomes caught between the cartel and the DEA, and with neither side particularly concerned for her safety, Gloria must learn to fend for herself if she hopes to make it out alive. Spectacular racing sequences highlight this breakneck drama that focuses on Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), a once-great Formula One driver who gets another shot at glory when he's tapped by an old friend (Javier Bardem) to join his F1 team. Hayes proves that he hasn't lost his touch, but he'll still have to face the injuries that sidelined his career in the '90s while also dealing with a cocky and ambitious young teammate (Damson Idris).
